Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Hej everyone icon_smile.gif
I have a little question for practical organisation. I'm going for a bike tour during one week just before Roskilde starts, and was therefore wondering if the washing machines were still existing at Roskilde, near the volunteer lounge ? I remember seeing that once, I think it were in 2010 or something. That would be a great help for preparing my luggages icon_wink.gif thank you very much and see you at the festival icon_smile.gif

No there have allwase been one out in the public that you had to pay for. The guess don´t have axx to the volunteer area. I dunno if there will be one in the volunteer area this year. Tried asking your boss?

The laundry service isn't actually a washing machine per say. It is as the name implies a laundry service. If you buy wash+dry you get the clothes washed, dried, folded, and neatly packed into a plastic bag smelling weirdly clean after a couple of days at the festival. There's no waiting or anything. You just hand it in, get a receipt and pick it up a few hours later. A bargain at DKK70 if you ask me.

Hum maybe for danish standards, but for me it is way to expansive to pay 70dkk for that. icon_wink.gif

Spend one concert in the pit area and you've earned that easily in picking up refund.

Haha true icon_wink.gif Or while picking up garbages as volunteer, you can easily find some coins. At Northside festival I found 66,50dkk in two shifts icon_wink.gif

Just remember that it is in fact illegal in Denmark to pick up and keep anything of obvious value. Smaller cash amounts and other things of little value (less than €100), or with very little chance to find the owner is ignored. If you find anything of obvious value (usually more than €100), it must be handed to the police where you are entitled to a finders free when the owner is found, or if that's not possible the object is sold on auction, where you get the full amount it is sold for (minus various fees). Or you can hand it into the lost and found at the festival (in which case you pass on the finders fee entitlement).

Nothing in the area with Volunteer Louge this year, it is stated in the Nice to Know folder. The area is now reserved for parking for authorites
