Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

.. No, I'm not trying to mess with you.

I talked to a friend, whose dad's a booker. Supposedly he's got a good grip on them, and he said that there's probably a 60-70% that they're coming, but nothing's sure yet.

This is NOT a troll thread to get attention, and it's too late to be an april's fool. No joke.

Well, let's just hope that your friends dad is right. Ac/Dc would of course be gigantic too see on orange stage.

It would fit pefect in their tourschedule to add a date at Roskilde to finish the tour off. Wasn't it Brian Johnsons wife who attended the festival every year?

Yup, that's her. Good enough reason to come, methinks.

AC/DC is the only band that would make the headliners this year good. I really hope this happens!

Yeah I think Roskilde needs AC/DC and Leonard Cohen. They will be perfect for this years lineup.

If they get AC/DC, they can shove every other headliner up their own arses. Nothing will ever compare to having AC/DC.

well the did say, that they would play all festivals they missed for the past years, including the danis (must be roskilde). so at least, it seems like, they are interested. i just hope the bookers are as well!!

AC/DC has been Roskilde's dream for a long time, so the biggest problem is probably the price. I think that's what they're negotiating now.

Well, if so there should be plenty left. I refuse to believe that Pet Shop Boys etc has cost a lot

Coldplay and Oasis should be pretty damn expensive, Kanye too. They're pretty big names even if they're not so great headliners.

I guess an AC/DC gig at Roskilde could end up being more or less exclusive for festivals in Europe?

Most festivals allready seem to have most of their headliners sorted (at least Glastonbury and Benicassim (Rock am ring/Rock ins park), I know Reading/Leeds and others have'nt, officially) and I dont think I've heard about AC/DC playing other festivals this summer.

If this turns out to be the case it would be a BIG scoop for Roskilde, Parken gig or not.

Esben Danielsen said that Coldplay came on the cheap. I hope that's their main reason for booking them; to have money left for at least one really big gun (na, na, na, na, na, na, naaaa, na)

Huh.. I'd think they were the most expensive one, you know, with them winning that best band award 'n' stuff.

But, I know a lot who will be insanely happy if they are announced icon_biggrin.gif

Over 20 millioner for AC/DC

This is the "article" that mentions Brians Johnson't wifes connection to Denmark. Supposedly she goes there every year with family.
Read it, even if it's badly translated with Google Translator.

Rikke Øxner just said on Danish radio that we wont get AC/DC this year.

Apparently they dont like playing festivals caused by an incident in the 70'es (!). This could change with time, but we definetly wont see them this year.

As much sa I'd love to see AC/DC at Roskilde, I'd much rather have Faith No More.
