Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

DUDE, come on, Rammstein are NOT going to play Roskilde!
They're playing at Copenhagen Rocks, og course they have exclusive rights for Ramm' on Sealand, otherwise it wouldn't make any sense to book them!

Concerning the above and other statements by the Download booker, for some reason, I'm guessing a SEPULTURA reunion!!!

I just can't imagine AC/DC playing Roskilde, Orange stage is WAY to small for them to fit all their "Stuff" on, Download's stage is wider and MUCH deeper, so that could be possible, but not for Roskilde icon_frown.gif

Metallica sounds likely, though!

If they play with the same setup as in 2009 they would probably have to do something with the screens on stage, but the train, the bell and the canons can easily fit in, and the on stage screens could easily be left out.

I actually don't think so. Non of the huge bands are able to put on all of their stage setup because of the way the stagelights are placed inside the stage. Remember seeing Iron Maiden both in 00 and 03 and they weren't able bring the huge Eddie or their backdrop.

Excactly, there are hardly any rigs to hang stuff from on Orange Stage and that might just be why they WONT come.
And no, that would not be able to fit the train up there, Orange is smaller than you think.
You can't move the screen, were would you put them??

BUT, negativity aside, I DO hope that they can overcome this and AC will play Roskilde!!

Trentemöller managed to utilise the space on Orange.

Oh it's not a problem to utilise the stage.. actually its contrary.. the problem for the big metal/rock acts is the stagelight. The way the stagelight is curved on the orange stage kills their stagesetup which mostly are the bands backdrop..
The stage is big enough to handle it.

but this set up will never be able on the orange stage because of the lightning:

http://www.infonews.co.nz/photos/600-iron%20maiden1.jpg

It has fitted on any other festivals like Download, Wacken and Rock Am Ring just to mention a few..

It's because of those fucking lightscreens on the orange stage!

Sure but not Iron Maiden or AC/DC .. Maiden are touring with the same set-up and the only place they can't bring it is Roskilde.. and that is not because I wan't to be a wanker by saying it.. but that is pure facts..
Check their Rock in Rio 2001 gig vs Roskilde' 00 same tour icon_wink.gif

Mostly all bands tour with their tour setup through the whole tour and it doesn't matter if it's an indoor tour or a festival.
