Nah, too much berliner techno on that list
But seriously: If RF could sign Black Spiders, and by that show they also can spot rock n' roll talent, then I would be very pleased
Hope so, but don`t think so. Sorry, but the last 2 years have been downhill slope for my favourites bands. And Black Spiders is one of them. Just like Rival Sons and Tracer. All top newcommers in rock`n`roll. A shame if some of them aren`t booked...
We both know that classic rock is not on the agenda with Rikke and her team. Unless the band is Swedish...

Classic rock or punk is not hipt - eventhough new bands like Graveyard, Bullet, Airbourne etc etc are coming up all the time.. Impressive how it can be overlooked every fucking year.

Totally agreed.
And it's a significant thing these retro rock bands. The following is massive

The Cult and Red Fang are two great bands who imo plays classic rock. And I rank these two better than any of the bands on the Grass pop poster. So i'm happy. Also have high hopes for the southern metal night. Been listening to Weedeater all day. It's gonna be great!

Ruisrock, Turku, Finland
6.-8.7.2012
Refused
The Cardigans
Nightwish
Jimmy Cliff
Two Door Cinema Club
Explosions In The Sky
Metronomy
Azealia Banks
Ewert And The Two Dragons
Mustasch!
Micheal Monroe
We´ve already go Refused, but how about Jimmy Cliff, for a daytime Orange show, he seems to be around. I guess no Azealia Banks this time. Evert and the Two Dragons is a good indie-pop band from Estonia. Micheal Monroe = Rock´n´Roll. Others I don´t know / care about.
Added:
Bloc Party
Veronica Maggio
Rival Sons
Pulp
Huoratron
Snoop Dogg added for Sunday 8th. That´s starting to look like an impressive line-up..

Just saw the Big Star's 'Third' tribute show with members of Posies, Yo La Tengo, Wilco, REM, Hot Chip, Teenage Fanclub, Big Star and dBs at Primavera yesterday. Why oh why couldn't Rpskilde get that in some form?!
