Hey guys, maybe it's not worth making a whole new thread about this, but i'd like to no why Bodom never has been to Roskilde, and why that is.. Roope has ones stated that the arrangers aren't quite fan of them?

They're doing Metal Town a few days before Roskilde, so I don't see why not.
This is from our interview with the band late last year:
Roope: Just that we hope to play more often in Denmark, it has always been one of my favorite places, I've been to Roskilde Festival many times.. and I hope they would also take us some time
RF.net: Maybe this coming year?
Roope: Well, I don't know. Might be some money issue or something, but I've been begging them like "hey come on! why can't we do Roskilde!".. so that's one goal, you know!

I don't think they are coming. They already have enough Headliners. If Children of Bodom would be able to go as a subliner, there is a small chance, but i think, like that guy said, that there are come money issues. Roskilde aren't using very big bucks on any names. The Highest RF will go is 1 million dollars, and then it has to be totally extra-ordinary. Children of bodom, however is not.

I don't have any expert knowledge either, but i just hear so much about them all the time, so i guess i thought their status was legendary. Maybe it isn't I won't outrule the fact that they are coming, but i highly doubt it.

But i still keep my hope up for it, because Roskilde stil need's a "Big Metal Act" to play sunday.
And what i have seen there are no metal bands playing Sunday..
But Black Dahlia Murder has a big opening in the Roskilde Days, and they aren't that expensive..

Would never ever be a headliner. A sub maybe, but I'd be guessing they'd be in the list below the subs.
