  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

So Roskilde bookers - it's now your responsibility to make sure there will be at least ONE more show!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tim Christensen was definately in my top 3 of best shows this year, and I'm not even crazy about the quiet part of his concert, but the dizzy tracks he played were THE best.

A Roskilde concert with Dizzy would be a EXTREME! Please convince them to play at 2010!

I'm a bit in doubt what stage they should play on though. In my oppinion it should be the Orange Stage, maybe like Thursday, around the same time that Volbeat played this year? Discuss?

Yup. Not getting the greatest rock band in Danish history (yes, including everyone else) would be the hugest mistake ever. Unfortunately, it looks like they'll only play 5 gigs, and none of them festival ones.

Stage and time? Well, they're are the hugest Danish name. EVAR. So anything else than a late night headlining on Orange would be blasphemy.

I don't think Dizzy would have any problem whatsoever selling out 5 show 3 months before Roskilde. In fact they could probably sell out 10 shows even after announcing a Roskilde appearance.

We are talking a band who has sold over 220,000 copies of their debut album in Denmark alone at a time where record sales has been free falling. And including legal downloads has achieved 10 times platinum in Denmark (300,000 sold).

I was right. They sold out the first 5 shows in 4 minutes, and 5 extra shows announced in 17 minutes. Seems the only chance to see them without being in that lucky few that have tickets (I have) is to make them come to Roskilde (and other larger festivals).

Please Roskilde, do not miss this oppertunity.

There's a Facebook group in support of getting DML signed for Roskilde 2010 here:

Actually I take the smukfest gig as 100% guarentee that they'll play Roskilde as well.

(Unofficially, they're already booked icon_wink.gif but Roskilde never release band names before the ticket go on sale December 1st)

I wouldnt mind that, and acording to Tim's facebook there will be more festival gigs:

From his facebook profile: Dizzy Mizz Lizzy is playing The Skanderborg Festival 2010. This is only the first of several festival shows 2010 to be announced. Stay tuned for more icon_smile.gif

"Dizzy Mizz Lizzy is playing The Skanderborg Festival 2010. This is only the first of several festival shows 2010 to be announced. Stay tuned for more "

it seems quite unlikely that Roskilde would book a headliner that already is booked for two danish festivals, and is playing a bunch of concerts in denmark..

Uhm, why would Roskilde miss out on the last and only chance to headline the biggest and most popular rock band in danish history? You're not making any sense at all.

And don't worry ... they are booked icon_wink.gif

A lot of things speak i favour of Dizzy Mizz Lizzy:

- They have tons of fans in Denmark
- They played their first really big gig at Green/Arena somewhat a million years ago
- Tim practually celebrates his birthday at Roskilde every year
- It's a somewhat unique opportunity to get a glans of the old days

... and so forth.

Despite the above I sure don't hope, Roskilde will book Dizzy Mizz Lizzy! The fact that they're headlining Skanderborg Festival and Skive Festival tells one everything of what they've become. They've become too much of a national treasure, they've become too pretty and I simply can't see them fit in at Roskilde no more. They belong where they're already booked: Skanderborg and Skive, and if people want that glans of the old days they probably belong there as well. Sorry, guys. And while waiting for Dizzy Mizz Lizzy you can enjoy yourselves with Big Fat Snake...

And with all that said I must admit that I like Dizzy Mizz Lizzy. I listen to it once a while; it makes me feel good, and it takes me back to my teens. But please, not at my beloved Roskilde.

Need I say more?

Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, TV-2 and Nik & Jay.

It's exactly what Dizzy Mizz Lizzy have become. And that's quite a shame really, but I just guess they're trying to ruin the name they left behind 'em.
