Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Do we need hard/classic Rock'n'Roll?
Hell yeah! But it seems to be overlooked.
Man... There's so much good out there.
New as old bands... Come on, bring us some.

Take a look at these bands, and pick out some of them icon_wink.gif

I completely agree classic rock/hard rock is an overlooked genre at Roskilde and all of the bands mentioned would be great additions. However only Scorpion Child, Monster Truck and Clutch seem to be touring this year.

Maybe if Rival Sons (a band I would love at Roskilde) finish the recording of their new album, there's a chance they will tour as well.

Well Clutch is booked for Copenhell now(and what an amazing lineup they got!)
Yes Rival Sons is almost finished recording their upcoming album, so that's an option.
So yes Rival Sons,Monster Truck and Scorpion Child seems most possible.
I'm also hoping for The Black Keys...

And i went to see Steel Panther yesterday in Amager Bio.... What an absolutely amazing show, even though their not under this category, i would love to see them again this summer icon_smile.gif

Slightly sleazy blues rock a la Scorpion Child.

Snakecharmer
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJ-Zy9_JpO8
Just about as unfashionable as you can be, two steps away from appealing more to my mother than me, but great playing and especially singing. I´m a sucker for good rock n roll vocals.

Horisont
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35wkjjiw4Zc
Great 70´s inspired rock in the vein of Kiss and Thin Lizzy.

Humbucker
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJyXrChyQDg
Like Hellacopters? Then this is right up your alley.

Sahg
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKj41rnGjow
Slightly proggy 70s inspired hardrock.

Kamchatka
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5a9dXXRPkI
Again, slightly proggy 70s inspired stuff.

Reminds me very much of Free, just a more polished version. I like.

For more unfashionable but cool rock n roll:

Equilibrism doesn´t seem to have it´s place at Roskilde, outside of some worldmusic acts; but I would love to see really talented players like these guys at Roskilde.
