Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

I think Roskilde 10 needs some seriously dancable electro-pop ala Ginger Ninja from last year.. Soo these are my hopes/suggestions:

- Fenech-Soler British outfit that just released their EP "Lies".

- Ellie Goulding Also british girl that just won some fancy prize over there.. Seriously addictive stuff.

- Plugs Haha, this is british too... Uhm. Yeah. More experimental with digital drums. Awesome lyrics : "When you get to the gates of heaven/I'll be standing there with a chainsaw in my hand/For the good of man"

Could be really great!

Here are some other bands that could fit that position, not that your suggesstions are bad, not at all icon_smile.gif

-Delphic Also British, catchy and very classic electronis-rock imo, and their new debut album is realeased the 11 January 2010. Currently three singles have been out. My favorite:

And if you want to enjoy more. They are practilly giving 4 free songs away from their myspace: http://j.mp/u5KIg icon_biggrin.gif

-Passion PitAmerican electronica band. That is more focused on electronic part like Fenech-Soler. They realeased an ep September 16, 2008, but their debut album came on May 18, 2009. Really awesome stuff, but his vocal has been critizised a bit on live shows though..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bfseWNmlds - their most popular song, but you might wanna tjeck The reeling out as well.

-Santogold Electronic, indie and female vocalist with a very nice bassline. Her debut album is from the end of April, 2008. So ROskilde had two whole years to book her. But guess the third time would be her and our luck icon_biggrin.gif
