Quick guide for the search
- Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
- Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
- Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

The French progressive death metal band Gojira has announced on their myspace that they're going to play the 3rd of July Even though I'm going to see them in Aarhus next month I'm still thrilled about this! To me this is, along with Down, the best metal acts at the festival so far... |

Or in the "Gojira to Roskilde"-thread in lineup/artists, too. Anyways you forgot Amon Amarth in your roundup of superb signings. |

Though it is death metal with a very dark and groovy sound, so it'll not be for everyone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqLh2-MUhNk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVeTBNAAF8I http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JF4XwUu0r18 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZVCD6y-LNM |

Reminds me of a Pablo Francisco sketch. (Just saw him live, hilarious) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJdnU6wDViU |

Because he a very very good singer. Growling is singing technique, much like classical opera singing. In neither case you can really hear the words without the liberto (lyrics) but is used to express emotion. And if anyone here thinks they can growl themselves just as well, try this on for size, and get hammered. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eq2PQm6FqVY |

I think a lot of progressive music is extremely intense and complicated and often has a message.. I can't see how anyone can't take a band like Tool serious for instance. I've tried to listen to some of Amon Amarth's music on their myspace and youtube, but to me it just seems so monotonous... |

That doesn't mean that they mean to take themselves seriously though or that you should. Music is music - your main reason for not listening to it should be that you don't like the sound of it, not their message or complexity. |

It's so bad it's not even funny! I'd rather have jokes about gypsies, gays, Israelies and nazies (sorry, couldn't help myself) [This article was edited 1 times, at last 30.03.2009 at 23:58.] |

As much as I care for metal, I just can't see anything in Gojira... it's so... typical. Anyway, still a good booking regarding the metal fans praise of this band, and seeing that their last show at Roskilde was hyped way beyond. |

They're not typical in any way. They're pretty unique in what they are doing and they are doing it damn good. Great liveshows, no wait, fantastic liveshows. I have yet to see a band tighter than them. Possibly Meshuggah See them and you will be amazed |

I have yet to see a band tighter than them. Possibly Meshuggah See them and you will be amazed No doubt, I'm not questioning their ability to play tight and doing fantastic liveshows, I've already heard people praising them for just that. It's the music that doesn't do anything for me. I've heard so many bands that sound like them, and I'm guessing they're just a bit too "true" for me. I like a quirky and crooked edge to my metal... whether it's a touch of humour, strange patterns in the music or anything like it doesn't matter, as long as I find something unique in it, and Gojira just doesn't do it for me. I know, I'm one in a million metal fans out there, I don't like Slayer either for the same reasons, and that's blasphemy to a certain group of metal heads. |
