Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Jamie Cullum Have heard a rumour from a friend working in a studio. He said that Negash Ali was there and Negash said that he would be playing before Jamie Cullum on this years Roskilde. So there are to artists in this rumour. Negash Ali and Jamie Cullum WOULD BE KILLER! icon_eek.gif

That was what i wrote in another thread, but it didn't get any attention. Now Negash Ali has been confirmed for RF, so i think the interest in this topic could have grown now that it seems more plausible. Please some comments? If you don't know him i can add a link.

oh, okay. Fair enough. People have different tastes in music, but i think it is weird that that in this forum, the music tastes is very one-sided. Metal, Rock, Electronic music and you're happy. I just think it is weird.

I Personally listen to almost any genre of music (Never understood Trance though) and that is because i always give a new act a chance in my mind, and i am thinking that if a song doesn't start with some sort of distorted sound, it isn't good enough in this forum. I know i will get verbally kicked for this one, but everyone is talking Airbourne, Cult of Luna and many others. Yeah, it is good music, but that is just one side of the cube of music.

Just a bitter thought. Sorry! icon_lol.gif

I think most of us listens to all genres. Personally I rarely even think in genres. when it comes to jazz and singer/songwriter I have many favorites, but I can't say that I care for Jamie Cullum. Sure, he's supposed to be quite the entertainer live, and the clips you've posted proves that, but his records etc. seems like he's trying too hard either to be like his idols or completely his own. I guess I'm saying I find it heartless. But hey, good for you if he shows. I'm quite satisfied with the program as it is, and wouldn't feel they've wasted a valuable slot on him either way. Well, except if it's between him and Animal Collective, as they're really the only thing I feel they've missed out on.

Okay, good. Thanks for that reply. Nice to know, that you don't just listen to Metal, Hardcore, etc.
Nice to hear it from the other side! icon_redface.gif

When Jamie Cullum played at Arena in 2005 the concert was packed! Heaps of people were also chilling outside the tent in the sun. Cool atmosphere!
