  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well two out of two (NINJAtour 2009)!

Seems like were the happiest motherf#ckers today!

You mean two out of three... Don't forget Street Sweeper.

That is true!!!! 2 out of 3 icon_eek.gif

Jane's Addiction is gonna be great! Oh, by the way, just found some cool stuff - Ninja tour sampler EP. Free to download (even in flac!!) at www.ninja2009.com, check it out!

I hope Jane is going to be announced soon. They weren't in the big release. But there a few more spots left and one can only hope.

This one deserves a bump. Anyone heard any news about Janes (and FNM)?

Am I the only one who thinks it´s a bit weird, that Pitchfork still has a date listed on Roskilde for Janes? And how does something like that even get onto the list in the first place?

(And please refrain from talking about Röyksopp in this thread, if you like that crap, and are male, why not just hand in your testes at the gate? icon_biggrin.gif icon_lol.gif )

People like you, at least based on that post, ruin the great atmosphere at Roskilde. Although royksopp discussion should take place in another forum, yes.

Aw, come on, it was served with a couple of smiley faces. If you can´t take a lighthearted joke like that, you really shouldn´t worry about handing in your testes, but just get some soothing potion for your little irritated vagina. icon_lol.gif

So now that FNM are on the bill does anyone think there is room for Janes Addiction and will the rumour come true? Depends on how they are classified I guess ie. headliner or sub headliner. For mine they are easily a headline act. Jesus that is going to be massive if they're on the poster too!

It would be a major bummer if they didn't get on the list! RF didn't grab the chance last time they did festivals

Who isn't doubting?
On the other side...
Who isn't Hoping?
Maybe if we all put our hands together, pray a prayer, send RF a lot of e-mails. Maybe the chance is bigger?
Let us Pray! icon_wink.gif

good questions good sir icon_wink.gif but still, pitchfork had them a long time ago, so if they were to come, then they probably would have been anounced a long time ago (: - just my thoughts though ^^

It could be that their strategy is to use JA to get the last tickets sold. Like a Wake-up call for the late deciders?

It's starting to get a bit fishy. Roskilde would be fully aware that the posting is on pitchfork (they proudly announced pitchfolks glowing reviews of RF in their headline news!). So if they aren't booked, which is looking likely, (why the fuck hold off on announcing a JA booking this late?), then you would have to assume it has been left on pitchfork for sinister reasons. There has been way to much time passed to NOT make a responsible correction that would be no doubt in RF power to do. So are they just cashing in on the speculation? I think RF owes an explanation here...that is ofcourse, if JA is not coming.

if you look at Tuborg's Roskilde site the JA booking is also mentioned there. Of course it's the Pitchfork story again, but it should be really easy for RF to get there main sponsor to remove the story if it wasn't true.

Really good points. Shouldn´t this be pointed out to RF? Wasn´t there a statement fro the bookers (Øxner?), that said they were in negotiations with JA? Or was that just a rumour?

Maybe they simply forgot. It would be nice to show and and get the program, and suddenly see them in the program. Heh.

They just updated the site now. They've replaced a news section (with the JA story) with an official band list

Yeah I think that might be a good idea. The only other European date announced is on pitchfork which has them playing at Sonisphere on the 2nd of August and they are not on the bill there either. They play Lollapalooza on August 7 and being the founder of the festival, I would imagine Perry Farrell might be spending July taking care of business. Hopefully RF clear it up asap...and 'ditchfork' should feel ashamed of themselves.

I now saw that JA are among the bands playing at the Oxegen Festival in Ireland the weekend after Roskilde. At least it says so on Oxegens homepage. But not a word on this on the bands own sights. Strange.

Well, i'm nog a big fan of JA so I don't really know why I bother anyway. Give us some more reggae (in any form) instead. icon_biggrin.gif
