Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Would all be really cool ! Specially Jamiroquai ! But I think he isn't touring, and many of them haven't announced any tour plans. Adele said that she'd be playing arenas this year but we haven't heard anything yet.

But the line-up now is still missing it's 'mainstream-headliner' act. I'm guessing Foo Fighters (touring around), Rihanna (some nordic festival i can't remember), Snoop Dogg (Hove festival), Linkin Park (Skive), Jack White (Rock Werchter), Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds (Rock Werchter), The Cardigans (Ruisrock, Finland), Rise Against (Hove), Wolfmother (Werchter).

I'm expecting some 'young' headliner since The Cure, Bruce and Björk are the older kind icon_smile.gif

Last year Arctic Monkeys were announced in early April, and they headlined ! Not that long until April !

Arctic monkey and Strokes were announced with the poster (19 april this year).

With all the hiphop and metal released I also find, that it is time for some mainstream rock bookings now (eventhough I will see some of the metalbands).

I think you can definitely rule Linkin Park out as the big Danish festivals usually don't share headliners. As for the others I don't know. I can't see all of them being headliners, though.

FUNKADELIC seems to be on tour, the grandfathers of prince, lenny and all funk. If you don't know about them LISTEN and be blown away by this 70s classic

Yes. George Clinton on Orange.. I´m lost for words just thinking about that. Seems they´re done with their US tour in April, so there´s a slight change.

Actually they were announced 7th April icon_smile.gif

And everyone knew they were coming because of many leaks.

I'm also expecting a headliner in the beginning of April because the road-trip thing is over on the 5th of April so they will have time for things then icon_smile.gif

icon_lol.gif That´s true. They can park the spacecraft in Amsterdam and stop by RF and then return without their feet even touching the ground.

Edit : Didn´t George Clinton play the festival, not so long ago? (Long enough for him to come back of course, but 2008,2007..?)

Edit 2: Found it. It was in 2006, which looked like a pretty good year to attend RF.
