Quick guide for the search

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

yep, they have played festivals every summer for the last 3-5 years, like Rock Am Ring and Werchter.

And just like D-A-D they are a very obvious choice for the Anniversery based on public demand icon_smile.gif

Looks like we could get a pretty good lineup this year! Seen Metallica twice in Norway, and would be amazing to see them on Orange stage! my all time fav. band!

Metallica
Muse
Daft Punk/Prodigy/Justice
Iggy Pop
Foo Fighters
Blink 182
Rammstein
[random hiphop act (Black Eyed Peas?)]

I could live with that!!

Deleted user I don't care for Metallica. They haven't made a good album for 21 years, they suck live and are too expensive.

No good albums? hmm... What about Death Magnetic, Load, The Black Album and Reload? Maybe not all classic metal albums, but all pretty damn good..

Suck live? I`ve seen them twice, without a doubt in my mind, the best two shows i have seen in my life...

Must agree on their albums.. Load, reload, S&M (what the fuck??) all pop rock shit and ST. Anger sounds like crap!

No, give me Kill em all, Ride, Master and Justice..

But They ARE damn great live!!

One of the best Live bands around. Saw them this summer at Werchter and they blew everyone away with their power. Their new album is great. Some of the songs are like made back from the Justice days icon_wink.gif

Load and Reload may not be heavy metal, but that instantly turn them into bad albums does it? I think that one of the things that Metallica are so critisized for, is one of the things I like the best about them: That they dare to reinvent themselves... Other bands like Slayer and Megadeth play the same all the time pretty much (not that i dont like those two bands)..

And i wouldnt call S&M a pop rock album... They played songs from kill em all, RTL and MoP, just with a symphonic orchestra... pretty awesome if you ask me

Listening to Death Magnetic is like throwing up. it reminds you of something good (there old albums) but in a disgusting way.
Load, Reload,Black Album and St. Anger were all bad.
I saw them in 2007 and they were bad. James can't sing anymore and i don't even wanna talk about Lars.

depends what songs. If they're gonna play death magnetic songs etc, I'm saying no thanks, but if they can play good live and are gonna play songs from kill 'em all, and justice for ll and especilly, ride the lightning, it would be great. Metallica today is somethin completely different, so there are many bands I'd refer more as headliner

I understand how you feel if you saw them 2007, they were all in bad shape at that point. They have really reached another level since they began touring again..
