  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Metallica have posted a teaser video on YouTube for an upcoming announcement regarding the band's summer festival plans. From the video it is clear that the band will appear at this year's Roskilde Festival, which takes place July 5-8 at Dyrskuepladsen in Roskilde, Denmark

I think they are wrong.

The name Rock Werchter is also shown in the video but it is really, really unlikely that Metallica will play Rock Werchter this year since they are playing Werchter Boutique in may.

In 2009 Coldplay played both Herning and Roskilde. Maybe Metallica playing also two concerts in Denmark this summer. I really hope icon_smile.gif

What? What are you tarking about? I am saying that I think it is wrong to try to make a hype about Metallica might playing Roskilde, basede on a video that show what festivals they have played. PPL might look here and see your(and AP) posts and think wau Metallica are comming and they will get disapoint if then dont.
If you post a real rumor, fine.. but this is a video showing what festivals they have played before. It dont say shit about what the will do

The way I see it, this video clearly says that Metallica won't play at Roskilde. How can you see it any other way?

if they were to play all the names that are shown in the video they´d be playing on something like 60 festivals this summer! that can´t be, also note the "you have seen them on" before the names are shown.. thereby they´re saying that "this is all the great places we´ve been kicking ass" then another thing comes up saying "but you have never seen.." thereby CONFIRMING that this is not a teaser video on future festival plans, but rather a teaser on something new and exiting we never have seen Metallica in.

now let this be the last post, hehe

As far as I know, Lars Ulrich told after the final show of the 30th anniversary celebration to the fans that they should mark in the calendar 23-24th june, for an event on the (American) East Coast.

It's going to be a festival made by them, like Pearl Jam 20.

They're doing the euro tour in May-June and then come back to US.

No Roskilde.

Cliff Burton would have been 50 years old today. Hetfield is or at least used to be a genius with his riffs, but Cliff was the one who showed them how to write songs. The MAN had so diverse knowledge of music, that they wouldn´t have changed the world without him. So, here´s a big cheers upstairs!!

(I'm an old metallica fan... but I've heard the same old songs enough live!)

Metallica wouldn't be cheap either... it's better to use the same money to something more fresh artist, like Paul McCartney!

Did you just call PAul McCartney fresh compared to Metallica?

Or let's try and resurrect Robert Johnson. Joke aside, I somehow agree with you. I saw Metallica so many times that I feel like I'm part of the band. But considering the present Roskilde line-up, with no headliner whatsoever, and looking over at the Rock Werchter line-up http://www.rockwerchter.be/en/lineup/, Metallica would be like a miracle. Even so I will not attent Roskilde if Metallica will be the only big name added to the list. Somehow I'm not in the mood, nor I ever was, to sing along with Bruce Springsteen. I love The Cure, and I like other names in the line-up, but there's nothing close to a headliner.

So you are complaining about the lack of headliners on a Roskilde lineup with 1/8 of the bands announced compared to Rock Werchter where the full lineup is announced. That really doesn't make a lot of sense, and while I like the RW lineup, it seems to me that only Cure, Pearl Jam and Red hot chili peppers would be guaranteed headliners at Roskilde (which already has three matching headliners).
