Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

I definitely don't think The Kissaway Trail would be a sub headliner, as they are a relatively unknown danish indie band from Odense.

And Tool would probably be a headliner.

I really dont see The Libertines as an oldie band, how can they be that when the band started in 97.

Oh would definitely make top of the bill! And I say that from an objective view.. I think they have headlined the Roskilde poster before?? 06??

Yep just checked, along with names like Bob Dylan, GnR, Roger Waters and Kayne West.. so yeah they are pretty huge!

Kid Cudi is not nearly big enough to headline, Arctic Monkeys and Tool have already headlined the festival and call me anal but it's Grizzly Bear and Megadeth.

I wasnt talking about if they should headline, but if they are big enough to do so.. Grizzly Bear isnt quite big enough to headline, but I WOULD LOVE TO SEE EM in the mix..

Ah see what you said.. Sorry!

Arctic Monkeys have never headlined before, they were sub. in both 06 and 07!

but i see your point! icon_cool.gif

it was just a surgestion, im not that strong on which of the metal bands who is headliner material!

and no the Kissaway Trail, will probably be longer down the list!

Not now maybe, but at the rate he's going, he very well could be come summertime.

Bands that keep surfacing in the talk and are realistisc, are bands like Foo Fighters, Daft Punk, Kent, Selvmord and Kashmir. I think it's safe to say that at least 3 of those 5 are coming. Which is awesome!

If Selvmord was announced as a headliner I think it would be quite the "Selvmål" (own-goal) from the bookers side.. Even Kashmir, who is a band from my younger days, wouldn't really be all that impressive.. We all ready have Dizzy for the danish rock-nostalgia experience..

This of course is my subjective opinion..

Wouldn't mind the first 3 you mentioned at all!! icon_cool.gif

To the people thinking that Pearl Jam are coming, i have to disappoint you.. Vedder blames the festival for the 2000 accident and the dont want to come back.. i read it in politiken a couple of months ago.. sad though

It's not a request. I don't like Eminem, but I can't think of another hip-hop headliner.

Jay-Z was here in '08, Snoop is too "old", 50 cent is too bad...

Ah, fair enough.

I can dig putting him on there from lack of interest. My apologies.

Please god, no Jay-Z or Eminem. Snoop was allright in 05 (or 06?), but would rather have Wu Tang Clan back than him. Krs-One would be fantastic, but is he headliner material? Other than that, Aesop Rock, Madlib, Immortal Technique or Q-tip (A tribe called quest?icon_wink.gif could be awesome.

Besides hip hop, Iggy and The Stooges, David Bowie, Tool and Motorhead for headliners, especially if Iggy played through Raw Power, would make me have to change my pants.

can you guys tell me why you dont like hiphop?

i just would like to know, i have been wondering why people can judge an entire scene of music based on 3-10 mainstream artists.
