  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Still about 15 acts left - what can save this year's Roskilde?

Blur could still be a possibility - they are playing Open'er the 3rd, Werchter the 5th and Eurockéennes the 7th according to their website. Question is if they are willing to play several days in a row.

Atoms For Peace starts their tour in France the 6th. They would probably have announced Roskilde already, if that was supposed to kickstart their tour, so that doesn't seem likely...

The Script plays Rock Werchter the 5th. Nothing else seems announced in that weekend, so that's definately an opportunity

The Who is also touring Europe in the period, but it seems an arena tour and ends the 8th with a show on Wembley, so they might be out of the game.

Justice are available and touring during Roskilde

Whats the source on this? When did Roskilde say that they would release 15 more acts?

Are they for sure adding names?

Non-headliners
Alabama Shakes
Frank Ocean
Elvis Costello
Vampire Weekend
The Vaccines
Primal Scream
The Black Angels
Gary Clark Jr.
First Aid Kit
The Gaslight Anthem
Tame Impala
Archive
Django Django
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
My Bloody Valentine (edit: not playing)
Kavinsky
The Bloody Beetroots
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis
I am going to add Tomahawk
Matishayahu added to Open'er so added them since they are touring around Roskilde
Foals
Suede

Headliners
Paul McCartney
The Rolling Stones
Nine Inch Nails
The Who
Mumford and Sons
The Killers (forgot about them...maybe Glastonbury and Roskilde addition?)
Dr. Dre (they kept quoting NWA on Facebook and he has shared the stage with Kendrick Lamar)
Atoms For Peace (not sure if they are big enough to headline)
Daft Punk
Prince

I like the schedule the way it is but these seem to fit if there are additions. Adding HIM

The highlighted names all played last year so I wouldn't expect to see any of them.

Blood Red Shoes (in the states until May, but seems to be constantly touring the last couple of years)

I have been yelling BRS on this forum since I saw them at Rock en Seine in 2008... I really dont get why Roskilde has never booked them.
But if I remember correctly, Steven stated on twitter some months ago, that they wouldn't do a euro tour this year.

I'm missing a big hiphop headliner and a decent indie subheadliner, maybe Yeah Yeah Yeahs?

Håkan Hellström would be cool to see again, too. New album and haven't played since 2009.

I'm more than happy with the lineup this year, but I would very much like to see Hot Chip added. AFAIK they're touring in Europe during Roskilde.

After the rumors about Rihanna "only" getting 1 mio $, I'm pretty optimistic about the last announcements. I think Roskilde have room for at least one more million dollar act (if not more). If you compare the price of the headliners this year with the ones from 2012 it IMO leaves a quite large surplus to be spent.

2012 vs 2013 (headliner)

Bruce > Rihanna (approx. 1 mio $ difference according to rumors)
The Cure = Slipknot
Bjørk = Kraftwerk
Bon Iver = Sigur Ros
The Roots = The National
Jack White < QOTSA (but just slightly)
And the danish acts should also be pretty equivalent (although I might underestimate how big Volbeat is these days):
Mew = Volbeat

One always tend to get over-optistic when it comes to Roskilde (and maybe I'm already under-pricing this years acts icon_smile.gif ), but I really think Roskilde is not "over-selling" it, and actually have money for 1 VERY decent headliner or maybe 2 in the area of The National/Sigur ros .

I personally really want 1 surpricingly big act like Soundgarden (but with Matt Cameron on drums it seems slightly impossible), or maybe Tool, RATM or maybe Jamiroquai. But since I have many concerts to attend already I'm mostly looking forward to everyone suddently loving the program and getting their A** to Roskilde (My normal camp needs some convincing in the last acts).

Just occured to me that Bikstok Røgsystem is touring DK this summer, and is visiting amongst others both Northside and Skanderborg - In the lack of major dancehall/reggae/feelgood-music, they better be amongst the remaining 15 acts icon_smile.gif

In the Gaffa-interview with Rikke Øxner she said that it would be good to have them on, but it couldn't happen this year

There are a handful of other names there that would look pretty at RF too. MBV, The Horrors, Dinosaur Jr., Rodriguez and maybe Jimmy Cliff to fill out the reggae void there seems to be in the Roskilde lineup atm. Wouldn't mind seeing PUSA too, but they haven't done a new album in five years or so. The last one is brilliant though.

You sure?

I count 4 announcements since poster release.

Kris Kristofferson, Chase & Status, Kenton Slash Demon and Om Unit.

The two Street City acts from last week don't count because they're not a part of the official music programme. Dubioza Kolektiv and Voodoo Glow Skulls don't count either because they were already on the poster at the release day.

Could mean that there are as much as 12 acts left. Some of these are probably Apollo Countdown or Pavilion Junior names since there are too few of those atm. to fill the timeslots.

It is now announced that Swedens biggest festival, Peace and Love, has been cancelled this summer. It would have been at the same time as Roskilde Festival which makes me wonder:´is it possible that Roskilde could pick up some of the bands from there now?

Well... I would like to see:

*Figurines (Christian Hjelm is already attending)
*Gogol Bordello (Playing at Northside)
*Bombay Bicycle Club
*Vampire Weekend (Played at Roskilde in 2010)
*Justice
*Bikstok Røgsystem
*Mumford and Sons
*Temper Trap
*White Lies
*Wolfmother
*Imagine Dragons (Really good concert in Vega)
*Hot Chip

I know many of these artists aren't that realistic, but a couple of these names would make my festival even better.

I Would love To see Parov Stelar on Roskilde. they are in Europe during Roskilde, but they only got time the 7 July as i can see.

Otherweise some more Soul and RandB music.
and i'm thinking about smaller Artists than Miguel or Rihanna.
I would love to see.

- Tingsek
- Allen Stone
- JP Cooper
- Lianne La Havas
- Fink
- Matt Corby

They are some really strong Soulfull RandB Artists.

And as i could read in this Forum, the Festival Peace and love Festival is Cancelled. They got some Awesome Bands in there.

- The Civil War
- Matt Corby
- Ben Howard

I really hope some of these Acts could come to Roskilde This Year!

Macklemore!!!Eminem? Girl Talk .. Daft Punk... Knife Party! all free

Band of Horses? icon_lol.gif
Fall out Boy would be cool and are free to play and in Germany after Roskilde icon_biggrin.gif NIN is also free. Also a good reggae act is much needed... They should get Damian Marley to play or Sublime w/ Rome

Macklemore played last year. Eminem isn't available during Roskilde. Daft Punk won't tour at all this year or with their current album at all. Band of Horses are headlining another Danish festival and is thus probably unavailable. NIN don't start touring until a month after Roskilde – on an entirely different continent of the world. Fall Out Boy also seem unlikely.
