Quick guide for the search

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

I am missing a band in the lines of Eagles of Death Meatal, Them Crooked Vultures, Electric Six or Foo Figthers.. Referring to the size and style (not the actual names) ...

Though Electric Six would make my festival!

If Blood Red Shoes isn't one of them, they'll be missing out on a cheap and brilliant up and coming rock act for the 4th year in a row (they've been on tour and had open slots during Roskilde for all this time). It's almost unforgiving if they're missing out on them once again.

WE have both been talking about this band for a while. Seems like we have been ignored for all this time..... icon_wink.gif

When is the full line-up usually revealed? (it's not complete yet, right?!) icon_wink.gif

I believe that very, very few bands remain, but sometime during the next two weeks, if the previous years compare with 2012. It is 95-98% complete or so. The rest is just icing on the cake.

If we don't get any new acts this week it will be really weird. Don't we have like 10+ acts still left?icon_confused.gif

I was thinking that too. If there´s more, they´re really leaving it to last minute. 4 weeks to go and I´m biting my nails anxiously to move the clock forward, so a new announcement would kinda help that. Anyone else excited yet?

Since the Poster release we have gotten 6 names. The three names at the Dr John release and 3 unknown Gloria names on 25/5, so that would imply 9 remaining names (or approxomately 9 names), but all the small stages (Gloria, Apollo and Pavillion junior) should have complete programmes now, so the smallest acts should be announced by now.
I'm still hoping for a headliner, but maybe I'm naive.

Roskilde really needs one more solid headliner. I myself need just one or two more solid acts... then I'd be overly satisfied with this year's programme. But yeah, they better give us some acts this week. They're cutting it close as usual.

I absolutely agree, one or two solid headliners would be great..

I don't think anything of that size will materialise. Rikke Øxner explicitly said that less big names would be announced post-lineup-release in a question from the Soundvenue Q&A they did earlier this year:

»Vi har ca. 15 pladser tilbage, og ikke helt så mange til de større scener som sidste år. Ellers er det lige så åbent og uvist, hvem det bliver for os, det er en ny omgang, vi tager hul på nu«.

We got 11 bands left, the Gloria announcement was only 1 band and highlight of 2 already announced bands.

WE need one of the best danish live bands to attend this years Festival, and that band is ofcource D-A-D! They have made a very good album in the autumm in 2011, and would be a great experience at the Orange stage. I would really appreciate it if they joined the rest of the program! icon_smile.gif

They are free for Thursday and Sunday only, and Thursday is kinda set for Orange with Apparatjik and the Cure already playing that day. So, that leaves Sunday open. Then, it would seem that either them or Björk should play in daylight, and that doesn´t sound too good. If there´s more bigger (head or semi) bands coming, I´d hope them to be able to play on Friday as it seems quite weak at the moment (at least for me).

From the answers on twitter I think there are only 3-5 names left. And most of them, if not all, in small letters. But I could of course be wrong.

But hope it's the last thing that leaves you so personally i hope for surprises like Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Thåström, Morrissey, Black Lips, Lee Fields, Four Tet and some good punkrock. But hey, i'm quite satisfied anyhow and it's only 20+ days lefticon_biggrin.gif

Of course they (Rikke) could be mistaken but at the poster release they talked about 15 bands left and we have now seen 4 bands/artists so how in earch they got it to 3-5 bands left i don´t know.

I see i see. I have also taken a look on their tourplan now, but sunday should be possible, and they have closed the Orange Stage before? So why not again? icon_wink.gif Would be a great act to close the stage in my opinion!

And i have also heard somewhere from that Björk should play around 13 o'clock at Sunday, don't know if it's right, but if it's there should be a big possibility for D-A-D to play in the afternoon. icon_smile.gif

Normally they just put a random time on their schedules when they don´t know the date and normally the first concerts starts at 15:00 on the Orange stage so its most likely not the correct date.

Please not DAD.
They are a playing every fucking shopping mall these days. Even though it might be tempting to have a cheap Orange stage act which can create some sing along atmosphere, it would be a total sell out to have them.
They belong at Skanderborg, Vig, City2, Oslobåden amd Tivoli, not Roskilde.

Although DAD for many years had roskilde as home, I still see them as a worthy candidate to play orange. Btw. they have not been to roskilde since 05.. So PLEACE ROSKILDE - BOOK DAD icon_wink.gif

That's a pretty decent guess. I instantly thought Michael Kiwanuka as the soul artist as well.
