Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Sleigh Bells fit in the small letters as well. I hope I'm right with these three.

What's up with Soundgarden, was it "just" a wish.

Just a wish coming from the space on the poster emerging almost same time as they were announced for British Summer Time 4. July.

I am hoping! Go Soundgarden! icon_biggrin.gif

I see a space for La Roux among the small letters, and Lily Allen as a sub-headliner. Shouldn't be too far fetched, but don't know how good the odds are. On a more sad note - I can't fit in Deafheaven anywhere.

La Roux would most definitely subline, IMO of course, and it fits just fine icon_smile.gif Deafheaven have just been announced for at solo-show in Copenhagen, so yeah, that's a no-go.. I don't see Sleigh Bells fit the small letters, since they would have to fit between Skambankt and Slowold - and theres only room for a three-letter band between those two..

I Don´t get your point? A lot of names can close it ink Soundgarden if they are booked

A lot of names can close Orange? I can't see any of the current names closing Orange (Damon Albarn?), so I think one of the last headliners should close Orange, and it can't be Deftones (I don't see them as a headliner anyway). Soundgarden could maybe, but it's unlikely.

I'm certain, that Manu Chao will be next to Lykke Li.

His country-code is written as either FR/ES, F/E or FR/E, and there's not room for that icon_frown.gif

It looks like Marvelous Mosell fits quite good, between Mark Ernestus and The Men, right?

Then they hve to use Fr as countrycode this time, it can't be anyone else (and I want my only poster guess to be correct).

Wouldn't it be a controversial choice to put him right into the regular programme, when his output so far doesn't really qualify for more than maybe a spot among the Roskilde Rising names or maybe on the Skate Stage? But he's great. I wish it's him.

At the moment I only see The Rolling Stones, Outkast, Damon Albarn and Arctic Monkeys as the posible closing act and they play thursdag, thursdag, friday and saturday. If Deftones headline I can't see them as a closing act either. Soundgarden could do it, but isn't that you a wild guess? I think Foo Fighters is better guess than soundgarden as the closing act.
Im hoping they bring in Paul McCartney. He's on tour and is a perfect match for the closing act.

Why is it a wild guess? Soundgarden is playing in UK that weekend. And it sound to me like you think the closing act need to be a special genre or somethink like that? + it have been seen before that it can be a subheadliner

07: Basement Jaxx
08: Jay-Z
09: Coldplay
10: Prince
11: Kings of Leon
12: Björk
13: Kraftwerk

So okay it have not been a metal name it the years I have been there but all other big genrens.
So I dont know if it is Soundgarden, but I have a hard time seeing why there are a bigger wild card then all other bands out there on tour in europa around roskilde

There's still room for Labrinth. And Emelie Sande could also fit in.

Ellie Goulding?! Or are we a letter short?

Right after Nails in the small letters, there's a perfect spot for The Notwist!

They're one letter too long :/ because then there's not room for the country-code- unless the next band is starting with E icon_smile.gif which unfortunately they aren't... My best guess is that it's a band that's something like "The N*****E O******"

Could it be Death Hawks from Finland before Dengue Dengue Dengue! Seems to fit and they´re on the rise. This is the third year in a row that I´m sure they´ll play and now my gut tells me I´m right. (And btw Brazil will win the World Cup)

And if you´re wrong about La Roux, the ...es... feat.. - thing could be Les Ambassadeurs. A Malian supergroup with Salif Keita, Amadou Bagayoko and Cheick Tidiane Seck. They´re playing Helsinki in August and it sounds like something Roskilde would gladly have too.

After The Men comes Merchandise (which is already announced) and after that could come Mogwai (UK)? They are 6.7 in France and rest of the days are free.

I really hope you're wrong about this teaser being so precise. If The Notwist, Lily Allen and/or Sleigh Bells aren't showing up, Roskilde are missing out on some great bookings.

interesting!
In the rising names:
Emilie Nicolos is NO, amazing act. And BLOO may very well be Bloody Beach, also from Norway. Between Kill J and Kønsforradäre, Kindred Fever (NO) fits pretty well.
Excited for tomorrow, already bought my ticket!

Though I already gave up on this year´s program, tomorrow can make a big difference. Just noticed Ibibi Sound Machine and Juana Molina. Both possible must-sees if announced. Les Ambassadeurs and Death Hawks would be too. Groundation and Denhue Dengue Dengue! sound good and there´s still lots of empty places (including two headliners..). So, can´t wait.

La Roux is definitely a possibility, seeing Major Lazer remixed one of their albums
