Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

maybe not excactly for this forum (my apologies) but members here got a keen knowledge so here goes.

What you guys thinks the chances of seeing The Who live on a european tour/Roskilde this year.
Been entertaining the idea of buying tickets for a us concert (new york maybe) to catch them live.
but seeing as this could be quite expencive, it might put a real dent economically in making it to Roskilde this year.

No need for apologies.

I think the chances are a bit slim though. If The Who were to take the Quadrophenia tour to Europe it probably wouldn't be a festival tour, but a stadium one. It is very rare that even huge names like The Who get a chance at a "we-only-play-this-album" gig at festivals like Roskilde. But if they're to tour Europe, they'll probably end up in Horsens or the like, so you'll probably get a chance at seeing them anyway.

I think the "oldie headliner" slot is much more likely to go to Neil Young. He released two brand new albums in 2012 and even though I think the last one is mediocre at best, Roskilde is much more likely to after a guy with new material than a band whose last record dropped in 2006.

Would love for the The Who to play again, they were great in 2007.
But I doubt they will come, dont know why, I just doubt it. I hope however that they at least come to DK again!
