I am afriaid that Quart-festival wants unique bands, and make a "only one festival job in Scandinavia"-deal with their bands.
Personally I don't expect Marilyn and Placebo to come - Sadly.
But it's only my speculation, I have no evidence that might support my expectations.

Manson is playing in Sweden at Metal Town festival on June 25/26, I think that "eksclusive" deal is only with Slash n Friends.

Yeah and Placebo are playing at small swedish festival, too... can't remember the name but it was announced in the old forum

Well - As i wrote;

I just expected that now that Quart is SO ambitious, they don't want their headlining bands to be playing 14 other festivals in Northerne Europe.
But i would love Placebo to come!!!
Marilyn... not so much. But the man IS funny!

I've seen Marilyn Manson in Norway before at Oslo Spektrum.
I couldn't wait to see him - but he was actually rather bad live,
by my opinion. I would like to see him again, though!
But, I hope more for Placebo to come!
Though it doesn't seem like it.

I disagree that Faith No More is metal, but that's a whole different discussion altogether.
Personally I'd love to see Manson. Haven't seen them since the last time they were at Roskilde, and they haven't made a remarkable album since, but with Twiggy back in the band, there's a chance they'd actually be good again. And their shows are usually pretty good.

They might come.. they play at Quart(ugh..) on the 1.july, and the next show is 4.july in Hungary.
The new song "We're from America" released on www.marilynmanson.com for free, and some leaks are found on *cough* youtube *cough*
