All your questions answered

It’s one of the most talked-about events of the year when we release the lineup for this year’s Roskilde Festival. So this year, we’ll give you the opportunity to talk to the very people behind it.

Too much French electronica and not enough Finnish metal at this year’s Roskilde Festival? Why haven’t we booked your favorite band, even though they’re currently touring Europe and have a few days available? Will you be able to hear both Bon Iver and Björk, , and what is Dream City and Roskilde Rising?

Here is your unique opportunity to have all your questions answered. Roskilde Festival would like to invite you to an open Q&A session at the venue VEGA in Copenhagen on April 19. This is the same day we’ll release this year’s lineup, so this is a perfect chance for you to learn more about the bands playing the festival, and the people who have booked them.

Meet the bookers AND the bands
Rikke Øxner, music director, and the rest of our team of passionate bookers, will be there to answer all your questions, discuss this year’s lineup and listen to your ideas and input. The festival’s spokeswoman Christina Bilde will also be there to answer questions about all other matters. So if there’s anything you’d like to know, discuss or just tell us, do not hesitate.

Sign up for the event

If you feel like hanging around after the Q&A session, we would like to showcase five of Denmark’s best new bands. There’s no admission, and on stage will be Copenhagen noise rock duo THE BEARDY DURFS, psychedelic pop rockers INDIANS, 80s fanatics DIG & MIG, the much-hyped GIRLSEEKER and upcoming black metal visionaries CEREKLOTH.

The concerts take place at Vega in Copenhagen. Doors open at 17:30. Free admission.

The programme release will be live streamed at www.roskilde-festival.dk at 16:00.
