Keep Roskilde in your pocket on your iPhone or Android phone. The last couple of months we have been working hard together with Trifork and design firm Duckwise to get all the different features in place – and app 2.0 is now ready for download.

Camp Events = YOUR events
All the classic and basic features such as the band list, programme, map, information and More Than Music events are included. You can set the alarm on all the things you really don’t want to miss and compose your own programme of music, events and parties at the same time. In "Camp Events" you and your camp can upload your own parties and events – and find other people’s parties and events as well.

No network? No problem
This year we’ve boosted the entire network coverage area during the festival this year with more cellular towers and Wi-Fi in selected locations. Nevertheless, the festival is still taking place in a field away from the safe infrastructure of the city. When 130,000 people try to go online at the same time, the connection might be a bit unpredictable.  

Therefore, all the app's most essential features work without being online.

Talk to a stranger and update your smartphone
The app also allows you to update and synchronize data horizontally via Bluetooth. All it requires is that you find a kind soul nearby with an updated phone of the same type, Android or iPhone, and then sync data. The solution (Trifork Relai) is developed by Trifork.

Dive into homegrown LABS apps
Again this year, Roskilde LABS has invited festival-goers to develop "homegrown" festival apps. The result of that is a handful of really good apps. As soon as they’re ready for download, you can find them in our app under “Festival apps” together with other useful apps such as our own food app, the APPetizer.
