A few weeks back we asked you to let us know which artists you wanted to experience on Pavilion Junior, our stage focusing on young, Nordic bands.

Requests have been pouring in like never before. In fact, we’ve received twice as many requests this time than when we ask you to let your imagination run wild and request whoever you want to see – everything from upcoming to well-established acts.

Our audience – mostly represented by requests from Denmark, Sweden and Norway – truly know the underground of Nordic music very well.

Useful information
It is a pleasure to look at the colourful result of the audience requests. We will soon announce the first Pavilion Junior bands for 2012, and we can guarantee that practically all artists we’ve booked have been among your requests.

Some of the acts that we’re close to confirming are even audience favorites; others will only trigger the immediate enthusiasm of a smaller crowd.

Active bands
During the Pavilion Junior campaign all kinds of Nordic artists have frequently made their fans aware of the possibility to request them for Pavilion Junior. Websites, Twitter and Facebook profiles have been the ideal platforms for impressive lobbying.

It is a pleasure for us to experience that the stage is held in such high regard – both by audience and bands.
