Today is the first day of Roskilde LABS’ idea competition in which you can upload your best ideas for the ultimate festival app.

Roskilde LABS is a new way of developing apps where the festival-goers are the ones with the ideas, the ones who develop and finally produce the apps that 130,000 festival-goers will be able to enjoy this summer.

There are four categories in which you can develop apps, but there is absolutely no reason to limit yourself. The best idea in each category wins a ticket to this year’s Roskilde Festival. The themes for the four categories are music, social, practical and freestyle.

Deadline for submitting your app idea is 9 March.

The contest for the designers and programmers
Subsequently, we start the developer contest for those who want to step it up a notch and create apps for the joy of all festival-goers. You can work on an idea from the idea competition or start right from scratch.

There are also Roskilde tickets up for grabs in this developer contest. The developing teams who create the best app in each category win tickets to the festival. The deadline for submitting the app is 17 June.
