Are you street?

Street City presents shows in the skate area, street art, live acts, competitions and Rap Slam Battles.

Sunday 14:00 the skate area opens with a skate competition where you have the opportunity to win an extra festival ticket. Bring your board and sign up by the bowl between 13 and 14. Later Sunday, Street City presents a skate competition: Denmark vs. Germany as a warm-up for the European Football Championship final which is shown on Street City’s big screen.

Spectacular shows
Bowl Days introduces the newly build bowl in Street City with the finale of their grand Denmark Tour. The best Danish skaters will give a spectacular show. Simple Bike Co & Sunshine Distribution and Hal 12 will perform on the vert of Street City.

Tacky.dk presents legendary skaters from ALIS Skate Team and Burn Nordic on Tuesday. Furthermore, CPH Skatepark demonstrates high-class skating and competition on the skate area throughout the warm-up days.

If you want to see live-stream of the world-class skating from Street City then go to www.tacky.dk and see all of the official skate events on live stream from 2- 4 July. The videos will also be available after the festival.

Rap Slam Battles, live acts and dj-sessions.
The stage presents a brand-new concept this year called Rap Slam Battles! It's a combination of rap battles and poetry slam. No more improvisation – more lyrics. This gives a unique mixture of poetry and rap. Besides Rap Slam Battles, the stage presents several live acts and DJ sessions to make a perfect atmosphere on Street City.

Build up your own street-cred
This year, Street City has three different workshops. Every morning begins with a street art workshop with Danish street art performers Hands Off and Smelt Mig.

From Sunday to Wednesday Gully Grinders, a professional dance team, gives workshops and presents battles. On Wednesday there will be a grand finale between the former winners of the battles, and the winner will receive nice rewards.

Six hours every day Street City’s skaters can be find in the Skate area. They will be wearing special T-shirts, and the workshops are highly informal, which means that you are more than welcome even if you have never tried to skate before.
