Roskilde Festival's many volunteers can realise their dream projects here. The students at Roskilde Folk High School (only available in Danish) can learn about urbanity, culture and diversity here. And Danish Rock Museum will present exhibitions, sound studios and a concert hall as one big celebration of the history of Danish music history.

Today it was revealed that Dutch architect firm MVRDV in collaboration with Danish firm COBE will realise the construction of the Rpck Magnet, which will be an iconic building in a run-down industrial park situated between the Roskilde Festival site and the town of Roskilde.

If you are from Roskilde and environs you may know the area under the name Musicon.

Here the power trio consisting of Danish Rock Museum, Roskilde Festival Folk High School and Roskilde Festival expect to throw a housewarming party in year 2014.

the Rock Magnet will in time be the catalyst in the transformation from run-down industrial park to a creative neighbourhood where experiences, rock history, festival and event-making set the agenda for future artistic experiments and diversity in Roskilde.
