Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Can anybody recommend some good songs/albums to get into her music with? I find it very hard to get into, but have heard that she has great concerts, so would like to try it outicon_smile.gif

I'm convinced that she is. She was in 2007.

Sure thing Björk is a headliner. She was in both 03 and 07

Will I be kicked out of the Forum, if I say that I'm stoked and she definitely deserves to be a headliner? icon_wink.gif

Come into my arms, brother. Even if she's half as breathtaking as in 03 and 07 it will be a great night.

I´ll join you, we can open a neww forum just for the two of us. icon_wink.gif Think we´re having a very good start with Björk and Bruce Springsteen. Better than last year´s Iron Maiden and Kings of Leon. Not that I was complaining then either but this is better, way better.

Weiss, no offense, but brining negativity to a thread dedicated to an artist, which it seems like very many people enjoy/will enjoy doesn't really accomplish anything.

With that out of the way ... FUCK ! Roskilde, FINALLY you're doing stuff correctly! After last years major blunder of a line-up, this year it's already shaping up a lot better. Thanks!

(ps. I'll be waiting 10-12 hours before the concert starts)

If you think the word "no" is negativity minded towards one single artist something in here is very wrong. It's a debat-forum. Take it or leave it dude! Glad you like her though (:

Definately a headliner, but not exactly my cup of tea. I've given it a fair few chances before to listen to her material, but always felt it was boring. Maybe its time to have a more deep look into it this time around. If anyone can recommend som decent starter music that'd be much appreciated.

When that is said, one can hardly argue against her being a good booking. Been a few years since last time, and she's clearly a perfect match at Roskilde. Even if it's not down my alley its a great first addition (if you don't count the heavy Bruce Springsteen rumours).

Looking forward to next announcement! icon_smile.gif

It was more the "Quote-and-respond-with-a-oneliner" that I disliked. Too early bah, I'll go make some coffee!

(also, is quoting broken for anyone else? EDIT: ah you just have to refresh. rofl, I think I asked this before, silly me)

Really? I only ever heard people saying how horrible it was compared to the other years. And I'm basing that on quite a lot of people. Oh well, good for you then icon_smile.gif

It's very likely that she will bring her Biophilia set to Roskilde because that's what she is touring, but it's also very strange, because that set is huge. I saw her Biophilia concert here in iceland and it's amazing but I can't imagine it on a roskilde stage, so I'm hoping she'e bringing another, more ,,normal'' set icon_smile.gif

But yeah, a GREAT announcment ! first time for a while when I've been super stoked for the first two artists ! Kings of Leon and Maiden last year was like, yea sure they're great but meh...

Yay! Great announcement! Springsteen is probably next up hopefully followed by Metallica, and then we're already way ahead of last year's lousy headliners.

You should all take a listen to her latest album Biophilia. It's fantastic. I never got her music in the past, but yesterday i discovered Biophilia and it was breathtaking. I'm so excited to see at Roskilde! Can't wait!

In the Björk announcement it says that more music will be coming in the near future, so yeah I guess Springsteen will be coming soon, maybe even tomorrow as it's December 1st??icon_wink.gif No point in waiting any more now that it's more than just a rumour...

If they follow up Bruce by announcing Metallica, I can't a better start headliner-wise! Even though Björk is not my cup of tea (have just discovered a couple of songs on Biophilia that i like though), it's looking STRONG

EDIT:

I guess a reason to wait with Bruce is that they may fear selling too many tickets to people who just want to see him.
