Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

I've heard a lot of people wants to see Pavement. Now they've got them.
What band should we bitch about next?
Limp Bizkit would be SO much fun. Just sayin'. (yeah I know they suck)

Yeah, makes no sense to me neither. Why wish for a band like Pavement? They've been off for ten years, this is probably the last chance to see them live and they are only like the most important band of the 90's.
jeez!

Your limp bizkit analogy doesn't make sense btw. They are just ridiculus, commercial and if you despite that want to see them, you've had your chances.

Yeah I stumbled on that statement as well. What a warped view of music.

"With their fractured songs, unexpected blasts of feedback, laconic vocals, cryptic literate lyrics, and defiant low-fidelity, Pavement were one of the most influential and distinctive bands to emerge from the American underground in the '90s." - Allmusic.

It's not warped at all. It's correct icon_wink.gif

No it's not dumbass.. It might be "ONE of the most influential and distinctive bands", but whether or not it's "THE most important band" is a matter of point of view.. icon_wink.gif

I'd never heard of them either, i've given a few of those songs a listen and I reckon they sound great. They seem to incorporate lots of different styles of music and im glad they've been booked. Can anyone give a good guess to what sort of slot they'll have?
