Quick guide for the search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
- Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
- Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.
Allowed / Not allowed at Get A Tent downtown
Written on: 24.04.2013 11:51
We bought a 12 person GAT setup to accomodate our 10 years anniversary Roskilde Festival reunion. Being lazy and old(ish) we felt the GAT could be our camp choice this year.
Having seen the rainy years, notably 2004 & 2007, there is a small worry about how to protect the tent from overwhelming rain.
Does anybody know if those white gazebos/pavilions are allowed in the GAT downtown area? The 12 person tent is quite big and the gazebo could go over it quite nicely.
Also, is it allowed to put large tarps on top of the GAT tents?

Being old and lazy myself and having attended 18 RF-festivals I can confirm that GAT is a good choise and that you guys will probably enjoy the area. This year they even moved the GAT-area closer to the festival itself than the previous years so you wont have to walk for 20 mins to get to the concerts. The tents are decent quality and will keep you dry unless we get another year like '97, '04 or '07.
To answer you're questions (Im not 100% sure though cause they might have changed something im not aware of); Pavilions at GAT are NOT allowed but tarps to cover tents incase of heavy raid are allowed.
Good camping and festival!
