Quick guide for the search

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Hi experts (yep, that would be you forum users I'm talking to)

Interested in helping us develop the camping area at the festival? Then join our workshop in Copenhagen. Read more here:

(in danish sorry. I have thrown in a semi-ok Google translate in the bottom of this topic)

In short: We are developing the camping area, and using the Camp Codex (and other) to do so, trying to make the experience out there as fantastic as possible, and inviting everyone who is interested to show us their ideas and improve the festival experience for everyone. It takes input from "the people living on the camping area" to get the full picture of what's going on out there and what can be improoved (or invented for that matter - new ideas are always welcome.

ps. Since the workshop is in Copenhagen (and we unfortunatly can't supply transportation coverage), a lot of you wouldn't be able to come. But do feel free to share a couple of pointers for improvements/new ideas by sending a mail towards camp@roskilde-festival.dk, and I will pass them on.

Regards Bo (Roskilde Festival)

PARTICIPATE THE DEVELOPMENT OF ROSKILDE FESTIVAL CAMPING AREA
Roskilde Festival would like to invite you to the development of tomorrow's festival, with special focus on the camping area.
Participate in our workshop
In spring 2011 we lifted the veil of "The Camp Codex - a dialogue-seekingcamping guide to the world's most creative campers." Now we need to make a 2012-version and you can join.

Workshop - How can we make the camping experience at the Roskilde Festival even better?
We invite festival participants to the workshop Monday 26th September 2011pm. from 18-21 in Copenhagen. What happens at the camping areas now, what would it be cool to develop on, and where are the pitfalls? We know a lot andhave a lot of ideas together already, but I live out there and are experts, so we also need your input.

Help us:

make camping even better
point to where we can do even better
find concrete solutions

If this has caught your interest, please send an email to camproskilde-festival[dot]dk and tell very briefly what you particularly passionate about. There is room for 30 participants, and one of them could very well be you. We must receive your mail no later than 15 September.

The festival offers something to eat and drink in the evening - all you need to bring is yourself.
