Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Hi There,

I have a few questions about the tents, because i think just listing the measurements doesn't really provide any information.

- How many people are the LILLE, MEDIUM and LARGE tents designed for?
- Are there any cabines which you sleep inside, inside the tents in the MEDIUM and LARGE tents?
- What type of tents are the LILLE and especially MEDIUM exactly?
- Are there any pictures of the tents?

Thanks in advance, Morten.

This is what it will look like when you arrive:

I think in terms of knowing the sizes of the tents and how many they're suited for you might be able to find measurements and such on a website selling tents and then compare with what Roskilde are saying here on the site. If you have any experiences with sleeping in tents it should give you an idea of them.
I prefer to have a two person tent for myself as it provides sufficient room for my baggage as well.

I think its the first time that the medium size is offered.

Normally I would say that the small is only for one person (2 if its your girl/boyfriend) and the large is for 2 people.

I don't know if medium has replaced the large option or they actually have managed to find a tent that is located between the 2 old options in size.

The old large tent had 2 cabins and a room in the middle without a bottom (or is it floor) where all the luggage could be placed.

So maybe Medium is just a larger 1 cabin tent, in that case it could easily handle 2 persons.

Yes, you can camp almost anywhere on the site. Even if you choose GAT, you can take your tent to regular camping areas. GAT is best suited for people who will join the party later in the week and may have trouble finding a spot elsewhere (and for people who don´t want to buy and pitch theit own tent, of course).

If you look at this map, which is an early version of map we'll end up with, you can see a lot of squares with letters on them. Every square represents an agora. Close to and around each agora you'll see areas in a darker shade of green, these are the areas you're allowed to pitch your tent in. A more detailed map will come up at a later time.

The festival starts the 29 june and ends the 6 of july, you have to be out of the camping the 7 july around 12-14. So after that the is no more Roskilde Festival 14. The big music days is the 3-4-5-6

You can split it up to 2 events.

From the 29th of June to the 2nd of July you have the warm up days with the Rising and Apollo Countdown stages.
From the 3rd to the 6th of July you have the main festival where all the "normal" bands are playing.

There seems to be one difference for GaT this year, no daily showers included in that ticket. Or maybe I am reading the text poorly. 25 dkr per shower and 8 days.
