Quick guide for the search
- Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
- Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
- Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Are there someone who live near the festival which perhaps had the opportunity to go and look at West and especially C? I really hope that they have not started digging the new gravel pit. [This article was edited 2 times, at last 29.01.2011 at 14:17.] |

Try to take some pictures of what C looks liek at present, even if it's with your phone. I really would like to camp in the same spot again as that is where I have camped for the past 2 years, but I have fears that it will be completely gone. Also will there be more camping areas in 2010 than there were in 2009? It was really, really crowded this past Roskilde. So much in fact that anyone who doesn't show up on the 1st warm up day will not get a good spot I think. |

Unfortunately it probably will before the festival starts. When/if something happens I will post pictures of it. |

I can't imagine that this will help on the camping space situation. How will roskilde make enough room for everyone, when almost every bit of west are being digged up?? [This article was edited 2 times, at last 12.12.2009 at 18:54.] |

Don´t trust everything you read in the press.... It´s "only" the C area, and maybe not all of it.... Don´t worry we will make it a great Roskilde Festival in 2010 Jesper |

Jesper, who do we have to bribe (or kill for that matter) to get rid of that stupid gravel pit? |

It doesnt really seem like there is going to be any less space than in 2009. I read somwhere that they are going to open up for camping east of Køgevej, which should make room for quite a few, and they are keeping P open from the start, and P is much larger than C |

Yes, but if C is completely gone, then you have to camp closer to the skating area I guess, which is in which section exactly? I actually do not know...and I guess it is not that far from C really. |

As I see it [1], any possible camping areas to the east of Køgevej would be farther from the festival site than any current areas are. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but overall it means that the camping areas are moving away from the festival itself. Slowly but safely. Of course I know the festival cannot avoid this; I'm just stating some thoughts here, not trying to provoke discussion. [1] judging from this map and assuming the new area will be around the green spot east of Køgevej. [This article was edited 1 times, at last 14.12.2009 at 01:30.] |

Sorry but i can´t see the problem We camped at Get a tent both in 2008 and 2009 and in 09 it was really not a longer walk than the most south and south west located camp areas at the main camping ground because the get a tent and the carpark switched around so the get a tent was located closer to Køgevej. |

According to the local newspaper Dagbladet there will be a new tunnel under Køgevej so there will be a safe passage under Køgevej http://www.sn.dk/artikel/33952:Roskilde--Tunnel-til-gavn-for-festivalgaester-og-trafikanter BTW back to the topic, the camping area near the skateramp and south of the gravelpit will remain. http://www.sn.dk/artikel/34623:Roskilde--Roskilde-Festival-mister-stort-campingomraade [This article was edited 1 times, at last 14.12.2009 at 12:05.] |

I guess Area B is the one closest to the Skating Area and Camping Area C. I guess we coudl camp there as we are still pretty close to where were were, and a lot closer to the food and showers which is not that bad I guess. |
