Quick guide for the search

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

So the preliminary camping map is out.

Things worth noticing.

Get a Tent Uptown has been closed down and relocated to the old Odeon area.

Much the luxury camping options has been moved to Get a Tent East.

new options like shelters and 12 person tents.

No camping at the old gravel pit yet.

See the map on facebook, I tried to copy it but the image is to big and will fuck up the layout on this forum.

Do you know the difference between get a tent central and east? Is there only a luxury edition at the east one, or is that at both?

It was not clear to me, I think that GAT Central will have the same facilities as Uptown (but without the Joe And The Juice bar).

GAT East will have the big 12 person tents, Shelters and regular GAT tents, but we will see on Monday when they release the Add on options for sale.

On the Facebbook-page the officials say: " There will be no Get A Tent Uptown where it was last year Rasmus. Get A Tent Central is new and if you want more luxury we have Tenthouses and Rockwool Shelters at Get A Tent East".

Im not sure if that means central will be like old downtown, and east will be more like uptown, or the other way around. But Central does not open until wednesday, so that is more like downtown. I'm excited to see on monday. Too bad we don't get to know a bit more. We are a buch of peapole who'd like to get tents together, so it would be nice to plan ahead of the ticket sale to ensure we all get tickets at the same place. Lets hope it doesn't sell out superfast.

Hey guys

A lot more info on GAT just got published: http://roskilde-festival.dk/news/singlenews/sleep-100-metres-from-the-orange-stage

EDIT: So since this thread is really about the preliminary map, I'll just dump a few not-so-well-shown facts.

* The AP camping fields near Apollo will prevail in 2014 and might even be expanded a bit for those who crave the Apollo party and staying near the festival grounds.
* The southern power line (passes through N and L) has been shut down, but will not be taken down. It will be allowed to camp underneath the wire. The northern-most power line (passes through L and divides L and N) will still be in effect, so no camping underneath that one.
* The gravel pit has been filled up, but will not be used for camping/installations in 2014.
* H will once more act as Dream City.

There are other changes still being worked on and the above could also change, but these are some of the things that doesn't show very well on the preliminary map.

Does anyone know if there's still going to be a Camp at the Berendsen facilities just across the high way? A few years back it was called the H&M camp.

Nothing planned by Roskilde, the new upscale camp is the GAT Central, however they only offer the small GAT tents so if you need more luxury or bigger tents its the GAT East location.
