Quick guide for the search

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Two girls looking for the best place to camp + other questions

Deleted user Hey! We are two 18 year old girls from Norway going to Roskilde for the first time in 2014. We like to socialize, party and have fun, but we also would like to get some sleep when needed. So where is the best place to camp for us?

Also, would it be best to find other people to camp with considering we are only two persons?
How early do we have to show up to get a spot to camp on? If we can't be there early in the morning, will the Get a tent-option be safe to secure us a place to camp?

xx

First of all. I think that you need to be more than two persons in your camp because there is a risk that you can't find a place for your tent if you are not more then two.
So find like two or four people to join with, and if you can't find anybody from your group of friends, then write a post here and make a camp with a bunch of random people!

About the best place to camp...
It depends on what you like. I mean...L is the crazy party spot where sleep is for the weak people, and then theres J and I that are silent areas where you have to turn of your music and keep it down after a certain time.
But all of the other camping areas are kind of the same...you can party and be loud, but you are still able to sleep if you're drunk enough.
So if you are looking for a camp with no noise at all, when you want to sleep, then you should place your tent in one of the silent areas (:

And you have to show early if you want a place for your tent unless you want to place it in one of the silent areas.
And the Get a Tent option is a very good option if you can't get in line at the right time, but I think that the Get a Tent option is at a campingsite, and therefore a bit outside of the other campingareas.

Get a Tent downtown should be located in camping East as far as i know.

The reason it wasn´t there last year was because the ground wasn´t ready in time.

btw it shouldn´t be hard to find a place for 2 person even later in the week, the backside of P usually has some room left for the late arrivers.

In my experience, the fewer you are the less space you need, making it easier to set up Camp.. Not as fun, but easier icon_smile.gif
