Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Hi,
My wife and I are coming over from NZ to experience this awesome festival. Any older campers want to let us join your group? We probably need our sleep more than some of the youngsters but keen to party too!

Oldies? icon_biggrin.gif But, seriously I recommend the Silent & Clean camping if you intend to sleep during the week. That´s where all of us older folks rest our bones.

The further from the festival area, the calmer nights.
We have camped in the middle of P (pun intended) the last years and it's pretty calm nighttime.
If you're drunk enough, you'll sleep well anywhere. icon_smile.gif
And besides, 28-29 isn't old for Roskilde. You'll meet plenty of 40+ and even 50+.
I'd say the average age in our camp is close to 40.

There are people at Roskilde in their 40's and above, so being in your 20's still is not a problem or being old. I am in my 30's and I still go and will go until Iam 40 most likely and then stop. You do not go to Roskilde or any festival to sleep! It is too hot in the morning anyway and you have to get up, so just muscle through it all. You are welcome to come to our annual MEAT and Greet BBQ on the Wednesday during the warmup around 1pm near the J Tower near the Fishing Lake.

Off-topic: Still waiting to hear back from you regarding our pending "discussion".

On-topic. Don't think of age at all. Fortunately Roskilde is one of those places on earth where it is just a number. I feel just as welcome now as I did ten years ago when I started going.
