Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Well, we all knew it. Good booking even though he isn't to my liking.

I particularly like this quote from Roskilde.

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & THE E STREET BAND (US) are ready to take on Orange Stage this summer with a characteristically long concert full of golden rock anthems.

This means we will get the regular 3 hour Springsteen set!

Sounds good Roskilde, thank you icon_cool.gif
I saw him in Oslo in 2008 and he played for 3 hours and the show was awesome and next year he will play at the best festival in the world icon_cool.gif

Maybe your right. It would be exiting forum if all did agree to each other. Bruce just dont make me feel anything and therefore i feel he is a boring booking. I know many people will be happy and thats good. But i dont like him and therefore i did wrote that and i think that is nice that i dont like him icon_smile.gif

How is queuing done at the Roskilde festival? When do the gates to the stage opens? Will there be other bands on the stage before Springsteen that will have to remove their equipment before setting up Springsteen's?

Interesting to know what is preferable of a day pass or week pass if you can't get inside to queue until after 5pm or if queuing is possible without a week pass?

There will certainly be bands playing before Bruce, and probably also after as I doubt he'll be the closing act on a Saturday.

People will probably start queuing for the pit areas in the morning. Don't expect to get a place there if you join the queue after say 13:00-14:00.

Thanks.
Guess that means one would need a week pass to queue. I would expect the show to begin between 8-8:30pm. Don't like the idea of a pit area, but I guess it's all GAs.

A week pass is always the preferable choice of Roskilde ticket. However the day pass gives you access from 5 am so there should be plenty of time to make it to the queue - even though you might have to stand in line from 13:00 as Saturnus says.

One of the best Roskilde festivals ever awaits icon_eek.gif

Björk+Bruce+Bon Iver before Christmas! This can only get better and in my book these three are worth almost the whole ticket price.

Nice booking definitely. Looking forward to it.
One concern though: Springsteen-shows tend to sell out within minutes because of the huge fanbase of this man. I worry that as soon as saturday tickets sell out (and they will!), Springsteen-fans will turn to four day tickets for that one show only, rendering the festival grounds empty the remaining days.

Or is that just me being pessimistic?

It would almost be cheaper for them to get a ticket in another city than buying a 1800 DKK ticket for Roskilde and with double dates in Bergen and Stockholm and dates in Oslo, Berlin, Cologne, Vienna, Prague, Frankfurt and Paris it will with either a decent driving distance or cheap air tickets.
