Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Chase and Status playing Orange stage. Electronic line-up just got a lot better!

Kenton Slash Demon is also a pretty nice booking. Will have to check Om Unit out.

If you don't mind people being in danger then I would agree.

In 2011 they where on a way to small stage. And in 2012 they play the main stage of Download with great reviews so I am sure they can make a great show at Orange

They also headline/subheadline a few other festivals on open air stages. Reading/Leeds, T in the Park and Glastonbury this year springs to mind.

The C&S-booking is absolutely awful. The act is fake as hell, the MC (hope he won't come) is worse than you might 've imagined and the songs are poor. I really hope this isn't the 'modernization' of the line-up Rikke mentioned.

Have to agree a bit there. Maybe it´s just that I´m finally getting old and don´t understand the young folks music anymore. The Glastonbury clip on youtube had some moments in it, but... quite awful sometimes.

Whatever one may think of C&S as an act, I think they do indeed fill out the blank spot of a huge stadium size Orange Stage electronic act that was missing from the poster AND last year's poster. Anyone who was there in 2011 will know that it is going to be one hell of a party!

Indeed! surprised they haven't booked them before, but I must admit I've had my fingers crossed since the announcement of WSGM. Om Unit is also a really cool new addition to the Apollo lineup. All in all I'm super stoked about today's announcement!!

But it will be a difeerent party compared to Deadmau5, which blew everyone away! I am not really sure how it will turn out.

C & S are mentioned in the announcement as a headliner, yet placed among the Sub-headliners in the poster view, which is a bit contradictory...

They are apparently a lot bigger than what I thought - last time was crazy, but they sure can party! icon_cool.gif

And their concert at Jim Marshall Stage was pretty f***ing good! Orange Stage is no problem for them (see what I did there..)

Yeah, what's that all about?? I could be because Rikke Øxner (accindentally?) promised 1-2 topclass names, and this therefore had to be one of them

Yeah i also noticed that... maybe it's an error, the poster has been edited a few times in the lower end with the Junior/Countdown names...

This cannot be one of the topclass acts, it's the electronic headliner, this means it is the big electronica act, not per se a headliner. It's a nice addition, but still waiting for a big name.

Maybe they meant headliner in the sense as they are playing as the late act on Orange Stage?

I certainly think they are meant as one of the two "topklasse" bands. I mean, they fill enormous venues all over the world and certainly aren't a cheap booking. Probably among the most expensive sub-heads (if they'll stay there on the poster). I still think we'll get one big name (headliner) though, and maybe yet another sub.

A little off topic maybe, but with Chase & Status added it seems like we have gotten a lot more repetitions from recent years. Usually we say that a band plays no sooner than every third year, with one or two exceptions, but this year it's a little different. Indians, Linkoban and Eloq played last year and Chase & Status, James Blake and Iceage played in 2011. I find quite unusual

It is not that usuall that Pavillion junior names play on a "real" stage shot after again
