Quick guide for the search

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Who?

Oh... house, dubstep and the likes. I'm skipping those.

Some good names. Personally i like Vatican Shadow and Holy Other very much. But I must say it's music suited for headphones. I guess both of these play at Gloria.

BAAUER - just listened to a few tunes on spotify - Harlem Shake, Dum dum and Yaow. Sounds like one hell of a party with gaslamp killah type music only with less acid..

Baauer is by far one of the best bookings Roskilde could have made, there's a liveset with him here, where you can check him out... He's seriously a SICK SICK kid and one of the pioneers of the whole trap-genre

Looking forward to Disclosure but thats about it.

Baauer sounds like crap! Lots of uplifting sequences in his tracks but its followed up by this traditional hip/hop (trapstep, dubstep, whatever subsubsub-genre is "in"icon_wink.gif beat that just doesnt work at all after uplifting. Terrible imo.

I'm super fucking hyped about getting Disclosure to RF, have wished for them two years in a row now. Since the first time I heard their breakthrough EP Tenderly/Flow I've been completely and utterly in love with their super cool, yet sexy take on house and UK garage. It's really unique, and to quote a review i read somewhere (Beatport i think), two years from now there will be a genre called Disclosure and tons of kids trying to sound like them but without ever reaching that same level.

Vatican City and Holy Other are super cool musicians, but as mentioned it's more the headphone kind of music (Think Danglish and Oneohtrix Point Never from last year) that will be put on Gloria stage.

I'd love to see Jam City live, only thing is I'll need to big stoned as fuck and it has to be sunday afternoon or something like that. I sincerely hope it will happen nonetheless!

Baauer is, well... not really my cup of tea. This whole trap thing just seems to me like a bunch of screwed up kids on weed trying to create a "new" genre out of weird sound bites and heavily climax-based arrangements. It's so gimmicky you wonder whether the whole thing is really a joke. Seriously. It's like the new "dubstep" (which wasn't really dubstep). Believe me, you will soon see youtube overflooding of tracks like "Pink Floyd - Money (TRAP REFIX)" and "Michael Jackson - Smooth Criminal (₮Я∆P Я3Ḿ1X)". Yeah, they also have this thing about writing everything in unicode letters. I told you it was silly.

It's a party alright, but I believe my ears are simply not able to listen to the same (extremely abused) 808 snare for a whole concert.

With all the Harlem Shake hype going on is the Apollo and Cosmopol stages gonna be to small for the Baauer concert?

Apollo, maybe. Cosmopol, no – that tent is huge. And I think it will die out well before that.

The difference is only 1000 people (5000 and 6000 capacity) but you are probably right about the hype thing, and most people probably don't know who made Harlem Shake.

convinced that Disclosure and Baauer is way too big to play at Apollo/Cosmopol. think they're being very underestimated... one song at youtube with over a million views, and they should be playing at Arena imo.

Nothing against the two musical acts, but I think you're actually overestimating them. One somewhat popular song is obviously not enough to fill Arena. There several factors to include; when are they playing? what other acts are playing at the same time? Also, a six months popular song is like old news nowadays. I would rather have a fully crowded Cosmopol/Apollo than a half-full Arena.
