Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Some wild guesses. I think Klumben & Raske Penge will open Orange, Stevie Wonder will close it (obviously) and La Chiva Gantiva for late Arena Sunday party (might be joined by Systema Solar too)...

Don´t think it is a wild guess. I have a hard time seeing Klumben & Raske Penge on Orange if they are not there to open

Usually I haven´t cared too much about the opening acts, but Klumben & Raske Penge might get the party started right from the beginning. Although there´s always the risk that the crowd hasn´t warmed up properly yet on Thursday afternoon (we only have 4 days of warm-up this year, you know icon_smile.gif). If that´s the case I´d love to see them as Friday´s or Saturday´s first act.

I think MØ will open orange!

I agree that it's obviously Stevie Wonder who closes.

What about Diplo for the closing party on Arena? I think he's done it before...

But Klumben has been announced for the orange stage and like Martin I don´t see them as anything else as the opener.
I think Mø will take on the Arena stage like Marie Key did a few years back.

Both Klumben and Raskle Penges facebook profiles ays they will be at the Orange stage, but no mention of opening act.

from Rokildes own bandprofile it says

In 2014 Klumben & Raske Penge will ride the elevator all the way up to the Orange Stage. You can expect a celebration of Danish dancehall complete with all the trimmings from the top shelf of Scandinavian music.

Get ready for an upgraded party, which will provide the biggest possible showroom for the duo's hymns, humour, bass and digital reggae riddims.

So it also sounds like they will bring some friends along.

On Ibibio Sound Machine´s band description it says that they will close Arena (and the festival). Been listening them a lot since the announcements, and I´m so not gonna miss this one. Party for sure!!

So far Lykke Li is the only nordic artist on thursday, so either she is the opening act, or that act has yet to be announced (RF hinted at some time, that the opening act maybe wasn't announced yet).

Lykke Li would be a pretty strange choice considering recent years' opening acts. On the other hand Roskilde might want to try something a bit different and have someone more established open.
I'm a bit worried on behalf of Klumben & Raske Penge now.

Klumben & Raske Penge plays Sunday. Also, Lykke Li isn't the only nordic act Thursday so far. There's also Bombus.

I have completely overlooked Bombus. Lykke Li seems to big to be an opening act, so maybe Bombus is more likely, but neither seems like an obvious opening act.

Last year they had 3 act's on every stage Thursday. This year they have 6 stages but only 17 names on Thursday so far. So my guess is the opener still hasn't been announced.

Yes I know. That's why I'm worried. I would have thought they'd work better as an opening act than a "regular" Orange act.

I think it could work as a lazy sunday afternoon hangover show. Á la Kris Kristofferson, James Blake or Tina Dickow some years back.
