Quick guide for the search

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

After my disapointment of Muse cancelling their concert in Malmø next week, it's a great consolation price to see, that Queens of the Stoneage will be playing at RF.
Great booking and one of my five wishes icon_biggrin.gif

I don't know the other two bands, so I will have to check them out first.

Guess we have two headliners already and both play sort of a harder rock music. I take that we´ll get Daft Punk and maybe Wu Tang Clan (still guessing here). Otherwise It´ll be hard to fill the remaining headliner spots, but we´ll see..

As for the announcement, I´m glad for QotSA. Haven´t listened them that much in the past, so this gives me a good reason to do so..

Probably won´t see the other two announced today.

Think Sigur Ros will headline also, so think we have 3.

How that this is a sign we will get a hard rocking headliner year (yes I am dreaming)

But I think C2C is a very nice booking to, they are some of the best of what they do.. might go see them

This is great news, I'm really looking forward to be seeing them live! I sure am hoping for Dave Grohl to join them on stage as he will be on their coming album, and as he was on SftD.

He will. FF are history for now.

In 2001 they sucked major ass, and I wondered was this the band everybody was fuzzing about. Then Josh freezed on stage (can´t remember if if was in the middle of the song, or what..) and told the audience that he was having a very bad acid trip. That figures why they were so crappy.. icon_smile.gif And btw it was only 3 o´clock in the afternoon, so we know what he used to put in his cerial.

Hoping and I´m sure we´ll get better gig this time around. icon_smile.gif

Just haven't seen it being confirmed, but so far I'm taking your word for it!

It's pretty cool that Roskilde books one of the biggest wishes for NorthSide icon_razz.gif That just shows the quality of Roskilde. QotSA, what an amazing band!!

If Dave Grohl joins them on this tour, it'll be a must-see for me... otherwise I'll put them as a perhaps. Haven't really been into their music since the first 3 albums. Northside is in the lead bookingwise so far. Hoping Roskilde will prove they're the best festival in Denmark with the next couple of bookings.

Have they actually played a decent show at Roskilde. Heard that both 2001, 2003 and 2007 sucked for various reasons. But they are an amazing band - also live. The shows I have seen in Vega and KB Hallen have been amazing. I am really looking forward to this show - especially if Nick and Dave will be joining their tour.

Nice with QotSA. The electronic names are boring though imo.

C2C are amazing, undoubtedly the best turntablist quartet in the world! Glad to have them at roskilde after their cancelled concert in Vega this year. I'm guessing they'll play Arena.

Also i just might try checking out QotSA, just because everyone seems so hyped about them.

I agree C2C are fantastic booking! Checking out?! Where have you been the last 10 years? icon_razz.gif
Anyway, start by listening to Songs for the Deaf, probably one of the best albums of 00's imo.

I found the concert from 2001, but it is cut, so I couldn´t find the acid thing.. but in the beginning of this song he says "personally I can´t fucking stand up!", so it sure sounds like he had a bad day icon_razz.gif

it´s not a great concert at all, but the greatest live version of "feel good hit of the summer" I´ve heard so far!! Josh´s slurred screams are amazing

2007 was pretty decent although Josh was partially immobilised (came on stage with a cane – his knee was fucked) and thus it was a pretty short show with a static frontman fighting to deliver the songs through a handful of painkillers. All their shows at the festival has suffered from mediocre to really bad and muddy sound though, but Josh and Dave kicked ass a couple of years ago with Them Crooked Vultures at the same stage, so that raises the bar a little.

Well, it's news to me, don't know if it's common knowledge, but apparantly we won't be seeing Grohl on the drums at Roskilde. Not a must-see for me then... damn icon_cry.gif

I think it's news to most. Weird that he isn't going with them, I mean, who the fuck are they gonna bring in to replace him? Joey Castillo is the only one I can think of and his style is just so different from Dave's.

Josh Freese can play anything anywhere. He could be an option
