Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Update 24th of June

Sup everyone, the mix should be up today, im sorry for the delay, but we're working 2 tight schedules. The mix itself is recorded, and theoretically ready for upload, but the 2nd half just needs to approve the final results, before we share it with you.

In the meantime, you can enjoy this little bastard. It's some of the more poppy stuff from the mix, but just to kill time!

Have fun and see you all in a week icon_smile.gif

Update 16th of June

Hey y'all!

We're almost done with this small project, and we hope you will like it! I am hoping so much tomorrow will be the final day of mixing, as the tracklist is 95% done, all thanks to you guys!

Just to tease a little bit, you can look forward to Malk de Koijn, Amadou & Miriam and Paul Kalkbrenner mixed together. Major Lazer w Santigold mixed w Bruce Springsteen, Araabmuzik + Mac Miller. There are so many cool tracks, i cant even remember them all, but its been a fucking awesome job so far!

I hope we'll live up to our own expectations, and make just one of guys smile, nod your head and enjoy a moment of orange feeling, before the festival starts. And if not? Thats still ok, cos we always did this for ourselves, and its been fucking awesome!

Tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys!

Inspired by Den Sorte Skole, a friend and i are putting together a mixtape, but only with artists from RF12. We have a pretty solid list of tracks so far, everything from The Cult, Bjørk and Bon Iver, to the more electronic names, such as Frederik Olufsen, Pretty Lights and Araabmuzik.

However, we still need some inspiration. This is where you come into the picture. If you have an idea for a track, a part of a song, a good idea, please let me know. We have pretty much all genres covered so far, naturally, a bit more to the electronic side, but still with respect for Roskilde's identity and past.

Once done, the final result will be put up on soundcloud, for all to enjoy!

Thank you in advance

Awesome initiative, will you be uploading it to Spotify?

Be sure to throw in something by M83 and DJ Static.

Without Baroness, Refused and Nasum your mixtape isn't worth the tape it's mixed on!

If i can, i will, never really used spotify to be honest....

M83 is there allready, DJ Static is a good idea... Anything suggestions for what i should look for in particular? There's very little hiphop in the set right now, so i need some input there...

Already have it in there, will most likely just be I Know The Truth, as it should get some smaller amount of recognition...

I have Devildriver w Shitlist, but i'll prob be able to fit one more song from this area of the spectrum. Good ideas are valued, but mind you, these genres are very hard to work with, so in general im looking for a good transition-point. Something i can loop and then gradually speed up, or just cut directly from bpm140-ish, and into 180. But please gimme some titles to work with, and i'll see what i can do....

Magtens Korridorer, sådan, tak! Det bliver dog nok Milan Allé... The Roots, M83, Spleen og Vaccines har jeg med, har ikke kunnet finde noget Royce jeg følte lige passede. Samme med Shins og Mew

You could try and put in some Spoek Mathambo. That should be possible.
And Analogik obviously.

Hey man! Thanx a BUNCH for the Analogik tip! We have pretty much finised the playlist for the set, and it will take some working around to put some of this in, just the right place, but i can't see how we can miss having them in!

Yelawolf was considered (and still is) but i don't think we will get the space for any of his tracks. We have some Mac Miller, Wiz Khalifa, Malk De Koijn, DJ Static and Klumben, out of the 26 tracks we have right now

Btw, i hope you guys will have as much fun and enjoyment listening to it, as we've had putting it together so far. We had a 10 hour day yesterday, selecting tracks for the playlist and putting in cues and mixpoints. We're obv not as good as Den Sorte Skole, but i think you'll like a lot of it, nomatter your taste in music icon_smile.gif

New Noise by Refused is a very popular song with a very recognisable riff.
