  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

I was surprised that Turbonegro plays orange, but having kreator playing there will be a really bad decision, they have no mainstream appeal is not wellknown. Bobby Womack also seems like a doubtful orange artist. On the other hand I believe there is still 1 or 2 bands to be announced for Orange. A headliner and maybe also something else.

I have a really hard time seeing Ingrid closing Orange thursday. Arena would be better suited for that act, but if they are to play Orange, it should be a daytime show.

James Blake could be another contender for a daytime show at Orange.

My guess is, that we have 1 or 2 more announcements for Orange coming up. One is the thursday closing act.

how can u be so certain that Chase and Status will play Friday? isnt it possible that they can play Saterday 01:00 and then Rihanna will move to the 22:00 slot instead of Queens of the Stone Age who will play Sunday?

Is it usual to have a night time concert on thursday? I know they had it last year with Apparatjik, but the other few years I have been at Roskilde there only was two bands at orange at thursday. I actually thougt because of that, that it wasn't allowed for Roskilde to play at nighttime on a weekday.

Thursday:
18:00 Vinnie Who
21:30 Slipknot

Friday:
17:00 Turbonegro
19:30 Ingrid
22:00 The National/Rihanna
01:00 Volbeat

Saturday:
17:00 The National
19:30 When Saints Go Machine
22:00 Rihanna/The National
01:00 Chase & Status

Sunday:
15:00 James Blake
17:00 Airbourne
19:30 Queens of the Stone Age
22:00 Kraftwerk

My guess is also that there is no thursday night act. James Blake on Orange would be swell, and yes he'd take a daytime slot.

Kraftwerk is Sunday at 23:00. That's already confirmed. Dunno why people write 22:00.

(The Sun has to set and it getting a little dark before any kind of visual 3D show would make any sense, and the Sun set at 21:54 but we all know that it takes a good hour before it's reasonably dark after that.

Why is no one mentioning When Saints Go Machine as an Orange act? They opened Orange back in '10, so why would they be "downgraded" to Arena this year?

(I edited my Orange schedule guess, hadn't noticed this myself either before i posted it)

Seeing that the orange opening most times is giving a smaller/upcoming band a "chance", it would make no sense putting them on orange again. Could you imagine Petter or Teitur at Orange again? (VETO is an exception, since Roskilde wanted to break the tradition of having an upcoming act to open)

And based on the "other options" for Orange acts this year, I definitely see WSGM as an Arena act.

That's my best guess. I can't see Sigur Ros working on Orange, and I'm hoping they'll put them on Arena.

Seems reasonable to me, except James Blake at 15.00. I really can't see that working. What about chaning Volbeat and James Blake, so Volbeat would be a bit like Magtens Korridorer last year? Would work much better for me

Well, it's only guesses. The reason for me to put Volbeat on at that time, is because they're headlining the festival, and they should get a better spot than last time they were here. James Blake won't attract a huge crowd to Orange, so if he's to play Orange, I can't see it working unless it's Sunday.

I am not sure but I think it is more likely that Airbourne will play Orange at sunday afternoon instead of Kreator or even James Blake?

Do really Black Rebel Motorcycle Club draw an audience these days? I guess that they would play for a maximum of 500 people if they come to Gothenburg on their own.

I'm just curious. I really don't have anything against them, but i stopped listening after their first album. Their show at Roskilde 2001 was quite boring. Are they any good nowadays? And can they really play Orange at 19.00 on a saturday night?

Yeah i guess that makes pretty much sense. Wasn't there in '10 and have actually never seen them live so i have no idea about the crowd they can pull at Roskilde.

They sold out Store Vega last time I saw them. That's a 1.500 ppl capacity venue and also one that QOTSA and Eagles of Death Metal has sold out in the same fashion. They played twice in Denmark that year, hitting Den Grå Hal at Christiania half a year later – selling out again. Same capacity, so theoretically they should be able to sell out bigger venues too, and that was with their arguably weakest album yet (Beat the Devil's Tatoo) up their sleeves.

There's a couple of good reviews of the latter gig:
http://www.undertoner.dk/2010/11/black-rebel-motorcycle-club-20-11-10-den-gra-hal-kobenhavn/
http://gaffa.dk/anmeldelse/44868

I think they'll hold their own on Orange stage even if Arena might be a better fit.
