  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

The rock programme is very very solid this year.

My only complaint is the lack of a house or trance Dj at Apollo, Amsterdance last year was a blast and I´m not into all of these trap, D`n´B and whats else they serve this year but luckily my schedule looks very packed.

It seems to me that Roskilde wants to get away with the Sunny Beach party goers and get a more international mixed audience that comes primary for music and if that is the route they will go then I´m all in.

Need one more solid headliner... hopefully Bowie.

Otherwise I'd say this is the best program since the 90's! I'm gonna be busy this year!

I'll bet you a crate of beer that it won't be Bowie.

I was quite satisfied with the bands added before the posterrelease, but the additions for today seems quite underwelming, no headliners or bands close to being headliners and appearently at most one headliners left, and hardly any bands I know.
I will listen to the bands added and expect to find a few hidden (at least for me) gems, but at first glance I'm not impressed.

I like to see Anders' updated stageschedule, because I can't see any of the new bands playing Orange.

I'm actually pretty excited, though the headliners aren't that strong (by the way, is it true that we need one more headliner? I mean, wouldn't it be possible with only seven?)

I'm definitaly going to see QOTSA, BRMC, Sigur Rós, James Blake, Efterklang, Jake Bugg and lots of other acts, haven't heard all of the new ones yet... it'll be great!

The work was done before this release. As always the big release was completely underwhelming to me, but the program was great before that so I knew it wouldn't be much today.

A few more big ones and we can talk about a great line up like it used to be

Last year we only had 7 headliners, so it is possible, but I expect that they were looking for another headliner to add last year. This year they are probably looking for one as well, and to me it seems like they haven't found the closing act for Orange (only possibilities seems to be Qotsa and Volbeat and I don't think they fit that spot). I don't know if it could be possible to have 9 headliners, but that is probably unlikely.

Disappointed. The poorest line-up for me in many years. Mostly because the line-up lacks personal favorites but also because i think it's generally quite weak. At least two solid headliners is missing. And among the sub-liners there are some bands that's definetly shouldn't be there. The band in smaller prints always holds some good names but i guess i was unlucky this year with only a few personal faves.

Has anybody seen information if there more bands to be annouced?

Still got 20+ names I gladly see so i guess it's gonna be great anyway. Maybe a few more beers and more socialising at the tuborg tent than usual though. Indeed not a bad way to spend time.

We only have a bit more than 180 now so I'd expect ~15 artists more.

Dissapointed personally.
Had about 15 names I was hoping for, and 1 of the lesser ones came on.
So far I dont think I have any definite must sees in the programme, and with 3 of my friends asking whether or not just to book rock werchter I have a tough choice in the upcoming days.
Will spend my time listening through some unknowns, but so far im kind of at "meh".

Disappointed too! What a bad line-up (for me)!! I should probably broaden my music-horizon, but still, only 2 names I really want to see.. Out what? 180 names!?! Its never been that bad. Almost makes me question whether to go or not this year. Sucks since I love, love, love the festival itself so muchicon_cry.gif

Worst line up ever in my opinion (Been at Roskilde since 1998 )
Only new headliner is Rihanna and the subheadline don't have any big names that are almost headliners like in the good old nineties and beginning of zeroes.

But as others say it might be because Roskilde is missing my personal favorites in the genres I like.

I am still going to be there but musically speaking I got more value for money on my Northside ticket.

Feel free to give me recommendations icon_smile.gif

I have to say I'm pretty happy with this years line up. And I still expect to get a nice surprise in the coming weeks (e.g. Frank Ocean). Of the newly added names I think I'll have to go see Bixiga 70, that could be a blast icon_smile.gif
I'm going to see Iceage as well, no doubt.

Do any of you guys have some recommendations among the artists in small print?

Disappointed also. Have to disagree with you there Bongo, first of all there's absolutely no DnB act (compared to for example three, yes THREE turntablist acts) and the electronic names are mainly super-ambient ones (Holy Other, Andy Stott, Vatican Shadow) and ravey-ass-hell pop-culture EDM (Maskinen, Bauuer, ELOQ, UZ). It's like they expect that all electronic music lovers just want loud kickdrums, dirty synths and lots of drugs to be happy.

Sure, I do look forward to some of the electronic acts, this is just me complaining that there were no big positive surprises for me today. Sadly. But hey, as someone said, this just means more time drinking beer and having fun! At least i wont have to prioritize as hard as last year icon_smile.gif

Yeah sorry no D'n'B, there are so many different electronic genres to keep track on.

What can we call the French guys turntablism or something.

I just want my trance, techno and house icon_biggrin.gif

But I do always know that my kind of music is rarely on the poster but that is not the reason why I'm coming here anyway.

I love live music in almost every genre and that Roskilde can provide and I seem to enjoy alot of the African acts (not world music) and that Marcos Valle guy seems awesome.

Got James Blake, Ingrid, Azealia Banks, Linkoban, Quandron & MØ that I really want to see.
Was dissapointed at first glance because of the lack of new headliners like my personal favorites Atoms For Peace and My Bloody Valentine.. But an absolute must-see like Black Rebel Motorcycle Club makes up for everything. And then there's all the hidden gems that are just waiting to be discovered.
The lineup was awesome before today, got a little more awesome today, and will get even more awesome later. Awesome!
And when Rikke Øxner says that we still have 15 names left (1-2 with "absolut topklasse"icon_wink.gif I'm very positive about 2013

Quandron - Danish "newcomer" with international acclaim. Won P3 Talented this year.
Linkoban - Played last year but it's always a blast when she's on the stage. Saw her two times last summer, she delivers!
MØ - World class talent. Saw her at Lille Vega in January. She's awesome! Could be joining Broke on stage btw.
Azealia Banks - she's Azealia Banks

Kind of disappointed too. The smaller acts are great though, but I would love to see a REAL headliner. Come on, Volbeat as a headliner?! Even Skive Festival could probably do that better. Personally I had expected/hoped for seeing some more of the largest newcomers from 2012 and 2013, for instance Grimes, Michael Kiwanuka and Alt-J. Also still crying about Foxygen not coming as planned - but that is out of Roskilde's hands, I know..

And then I would love to have seen either Bowie, Frank Ocean, Major Lazer or Daft Punk as a headliner. AND STILL DO!

I feel the excact same. Would love some trance and the like.
I dont understand why Roskilde keeps getting a worse and worse electronic lineup. Its for this very reason camps like Van Damme and Orange camp became so big. The audience is there for sure but nooooooooooooooooooo, lets rather book Volbeat that anyone can see live the entire year on a plethora of danish festivals.

Luckily there are many good names in other genres I want to see.
