Quick guide for the search
- Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
- Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
- Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

It's hard to find other rappers that has gotten more hype than Wiz Khalifa during the last year (Maybe OFWGKTA but we've already seen them at RF) so I think it's a really good booking if you look at what's one of the big things at the moment. Yelawolf is a sorta up-and-coming rapper, not super big in the rap game but he got some eyes on him now that he's on Eminems record label and he've been getting a lot of praises by the media as well. Royce Da 5'9" which is my favorite, by far, amongst these three names has been around quite a while. Never really managed to become that large but always delivered excellent songs. So I would say that RF managed to get a really excellent trio here - the big star, the star of tomorrow and the more "underground" artist as well (I now Royce Da 5'9" isn't underground in the words true meaning so let's put it this way instead: less famous.) |

Wiz and Yelawolf is what i would call "faggot rappers". Modern rap really sucks, but sure it is some big upcomers (sadly Their texts is really silly and lame, its all about how much money they make, all their girls, how much weed they smoke, Weak beats and robot voices . All in all good signing if you have never listened to real rap from the 80, 90 and early 00.Royce da 5'9, now were talking! He has been working for a long time with Eminem and is part of the group Bad Meets Evil with Eminem and a member from Slaughterhouse (Royce is also a part of Slaughterhouse. He have been a ghostwritter to people like P. Diddy and Dr. Dre! His kind of rap fits better to a guy like me, who likes the old school of rap/hip hop. He is gangsta IMO, the bookings are all right. I was/am hoping for Wu-Tang Clan would join the party, but it doesn´t look like they will. But the signing of Royce da 5'9 could maybe lead to Eminem? |

Really impressed by the bookings so far! Not so much Yelawolf, 'Pop the trunk' sounds like something Weird Al would do, only Yelawolf is serious about it.. but Wiz and Royce da 5'9 are some big guns! Only have 1 announcement so far that I wouldn't like to see. the other 4-5 artists announced are either must-see or want-to-sees. GREAT! On another note it seems like every band that has never played Roskilde before (in the music-quiz that is..) are announced the next day. Bon Iver was a surprise to me because I didn't know they announced bands in the quiz. But was actually counting on these three rappers to be announced at midnight, after answering the quiz earlier today. Seeing a pattern here? |

really nice! I love when Roskilde book great hip hop artists, I rarely go to hip hop shows, but hip hop concerts are always filled with this really special energy that I can´t quite describe. All in all, I love when Roskilde book good names I would never pay to see at a venue gig. |

All in all, I love when Roskilde book good names I would never pay to see at a venue gig. I couldn't agree more. Roskilde is the place to open your music taste. I did almost only hear hard rock and metal on my first Roskilde Festival in 2008, but i was also to other concerts with my friends and that opened my view on other genres. It's not only because of Roskilde, but i will give them some of the credit. Now i hear almost every genre. The only thing is that music has to mean something, if you understand. And almost all the artists on Roskilde does mean something. Im so happy they dont have many bookings like Nik & Jay, Seebach and so on. Till now it looks like the best start on a line-up ive ever seen. And weiss just because they have not booked som hard rock metal for you don't say it's a bad line-up. So many people who loves Roskilde also loves the artists who are booked until now. I also hope for a good Metal headliner and a lot of good metal. But don't say that the start is bad only because it don't satisfy you. |

But it's clear that these are three fresh, popular and very relevant names in the rap-game of 2011/2012, so I guess it's just me who's starting to become a hiphop-dinosaur only at the age of 25. See I was more hoping for Beastie Boys and/or Snoop Dogg and/or Common. Guess I'll be lucky to see maybe ONE of these names on the poster, at the most, after today's announcments. |

Thats my point...He was one of the first rappers at all, so he was one of the rappers who brought these subjects into the rap game. But its like the new school only can play along with these subjects and not make any meaningful texts. IMO its just tiring to listen to these upcoming rappers, who just want to be famous to be it and not like Ice Cube and many others to get their story and meaning out to the world. Ice Cube have made so much meaningful music, you cant really say that about Wiz or Yelawolf. Ice Cube grew up in the rough streets of South Central, so he can actually relate to the things he raps about and not just use it to be cool and have swag. Ice Cube also have the gift of being a phenomenal writter, which there are not many other people that have had. Biggie, Tupac, Eminem, Wu-Tang Clan had it and if i should bring a younger man into this group of lyrical geniuses it would be Tyler the Creator. I started this gangsta shit and this is the motherfucking thanks i get - Ice Cube |

sry for offtopic Huge odd future fan but saying Tyler the creator is a lyrical genuise is hilarious same with ice cube. They do have sincerity though, which often is even more important. [This article was edited 1 times, at last 08.12.2011 at 18:04.] |

Okay... Gotta have to be against you on this one.. I'm a huge, very huge, fan of OF aswell, especially Tyler. When you say that it's hilarious that Tyler, the Creator is a lyrical genious, it is wrong. You should listen deeper to his music, then you would understand why he really is a genious. For example his most known song, Yonkers. The song is actually a song about a conversation he has inside himself. It's between himself and his alter-ego Wolf Haley. You can easily hear it, from the very start of the song: "... im a fucking walking paradox." Wolf haley says. Then Tyler asnwers: "No, im not" And that's how it goes through the whole song. And then again the songs like Bastard and Goblin, where he sings about his own life, both good and bad. [This article was edited 1 times, at last 10.12.2011 at 23:36.] |

Try to look genious up in a dictionary |

. All in all good signing if you have never listened to real rap from the 80, 90 and early 00.
