Quick guide for the search
- Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
- Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
- Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

A bit about yourself.

I'm Emil, 24, just dropped out of my master's in neuroscience. I'm educated as a product design engineer, so currently unemployed. I'm technically Danish but have never lived in Denmark - I went to school in the Netherlands and uni in the UK, now moving to Denmark for the first time to seek my fortune, away from my 20 year career as an academic. Hi, I'm Johnny and I'm a Roskildeholic ... [hi Johnny] I'm 37. Originally a skilled woodworker (snedker) but I work as a Global IT Procurement Manager (fancy title, little meaning) in the largest Danish company. I'm living in the center of Copenhagen. I dabble in acoustic guitar ever since I learned my first chord in the rain at Roskilde '07. I listen to almost all music but especially enjoy the heavier metal genres and in particular death metal. I've been to Roskilde "a few" times since my 1986 Sunday visit to see Metallica, and I'm known here for my outrageous amount of posts, most of which are pure drivel. Also known for having developed the Boominator. [This article was edited 1 times, at last 08.03.2010 at 17:29.] |

Hi there, my name is Patrick. A lot of people here know me already. I tend to stand out in a crowd, literally in some cases since I am 1.95 meters or 6'5. I think I'm one of the few people at Roskilde actually from the United States who has been to the Festival more than once (every year since 2007). I have friends in just about every country in (Central/Western)Europe and so I travel there every summer to visit and usually stay from late June til late August. I attend other events like the Zurich Street Parade, The Love Parade ( when they still had it), and Frequency ( A really good but smaller Music Festival held in Austria). Funnily enough, I actually dislike live music for the most part, but like the overall feelings or atmosphere for most concerts/outdoor festivals. I drink like a fish while in Europe and during Roskilde. Hence I am known for wildly inappropriate yet entertaining behavior while intoxicated. Funny side note, I do not actually drink any alcohol while residing in the United States, only while I'm in Europe. I'm totally self employed as a professional artist. I do web design, custom graphics, logos, illustrations, comic book art, T-Shirts and custom drawn fairy tales and bedtime books for a living. I currently live in Los Angeles but I am originally from Northern California. I use to be a film critic way back when. I am a French & American Citizen through birth, which is why I can legally live and work in the EU anytime that I wish to for as long as I want. I use to live in Innsbruck, Austria which is why I can speak some German and understand written Swedish/Danish enough to muddle through. I love art and to take pictures which is why I usually take more than 2,000 pictures every Roskilde Festival. On a personal note I am incredibly loyal to my friends and I expect the same from them. I have a somewhat perverted/dark sense of humor, yet I am actually quite conservative in a lot of ways. Especially compared to most Europeans. My Camp hosts an annual BBQ and tries to have sauces and tastes you cannot get in Europe. Anyone here is more than welcome to join us. This will be the Strangers Camp 3rd time in a row at Roskilde. |

Andreas, 23 years old, 4 years in a row at Roskilde. I'm 6'3, blonde, tiny frame.. You mostly recognize me because I'm drunk.. Always lived in C, now we'll have to move someplace else, a shame.. When I'm not drunk, I'm hungover! If I can't listen to British music, I do electro.. In 2006 I lived on the chicken sandwich at "Tea n Coffee" the entire week. Expensive Roskilde, 30 DKK each, 3 times a day... In 2010 I won't eat at all unless I really need to! Selfstarvation is good for your mind and spirit, atleast it helps getting you more drunk! |

My name is Daniel, my age would be 20 going 21, im from Iceland but born in DK and have visited Denmark almost once a year since i can remember, my first Roskilde experience was in 2006 and i absolutely fell in love with roskilde, since than i have been twice more (07 and 09), have to say 09 was the greatest so far because it was my first time all alone at the festival but that was just a greater experience and i had a blast and met a lot of cool people. Next summer im moving to Copenhagen so of course im coming to roskilde again this year, hopefully i will find a school in DK sometime this or next year, music is my main hobby and even though i dont play an instrument i would love to sing in a band, i try to attend every concert i can so perhaps ill meet some of you in a concert in copenhagen or other places in Denmark, i can listen to almost every genre of music [This article was edited 2 times, at last 25.03.2010 at 18:08.] |

Hi, my name is Rasmus Hochreuter. I'm 30 years old and studying to become a ship's officer (dual competency as both a navigator and a marine engineer). I've previously served in the army, including two tours to Kosovo. Also, I have lived a year in Australia, working on a farm. I'm a huge guy (195 cm) and is also referred to as "Chuck", "The Hulk", "The Bear" etc. I currently live in Svendborg, but my hometowns are Kolding and Århus. Music-wise, I like classic rock and hard rock and I respect musicians who know their instruments. Other interests are science in general and physics in particular. Politically... well... spending a couple of years in various corners around the world has shaped me into a devoted libertarian, who opposes excess government in any way. 'nuff said... I've been with the festival since 2002, and since 2004 I've been on the team that constructs the Arena stage. I love volunteering for the festival, as it is such a great feeling to take my small part in making something so great. I like taking pictures, and can often be seen lurking about the festival with my beloved Nikon D90. Also I like long-distance running. I've completed Berlin Marathon in 2008 and plan to do some more of that when my fragile ankle permits me (small battlefield 'injury' from last year's AC/DC concert) |

Ahoi hoy. My name is Ole-Kristian, feel free to call me Kris. Especially if you're english, can't stand the way English speaking people pronounce my name. They try to pronounce it that is! I am a 20 year old boy, man if you will from the east of Norway, close to Oslo, but I am currently studying Sociology in Perth (Australia). This will be my very first Roskilde Festival and it goes without saying that I am really excited! I like all types of music except for hip-hop and techno, but my passion is with the heavier types of metal like death metal and thrash metal! |

I'm Ingrid, 20 years old, from a small place in the middle of Norway/nowhere. This will be my third time at Roskilde and I'm really excited already. Not too much interesting to tell about me. I'm having a year off, working before I'll start studying European Studies in the fall. I used to be an active cross-country skier until I got too lazy and realized I couldn't keep up with the best skiers my age, so now I just do it for fun and to get some exercise. I guess I'm a little picky when it comes to music, and I don't really like most of the stuff that's been released in the past... 10 years. So most of my favourite bands have either split up or the members are dead |

Solbir: It really all depends on what you look like, what you did, what you wore and so one. I had several nick names but they usually did not say them to your face. You would only get a (cool) nick name if you had something unique about you, a certain style/manner or had a big penis or something else that makes you stand out. Otherwise you could be some gangly tall-ass freak like my brother who is taller than me. I am the smallest in my family at 6'5, we are all giants in my family. |

Allo, allo. My name is Anders (surprice) and i live in the northern part of Køge around 25 kilometers from Roskilde and i am 24 years old some day yet. I do not have any fancy education or work but i like what i do and that is the important thing. My hobby is sports and that is almost every thing imaginable but i prefer Football, that is soccer to you americans. My first time at Roskillz was in 2006 and i have been here everytime since. My funniest year was actually in 2007 but it has probably something to do with the camp i joined then. This year i am going to shit in my pans over Prince, Gorillaz and Muse so i´m wery happy with the line up this year. |

I'm Rubens (or, technically Ruben), 19 years old from Tønsberg, Norway. This will be my first Roskilde, super-excited! Interests include movies, movie soundtracks, playing the piano and the drums, eating, fencing and climbing. Some amateurish Parkour/Free-running. And I seem to have a talent for placing English accents. Music I listen to on a regular basis: Depeche Mode, Sigur Rós, Placebo, Seigmen, Zeromancer, Genesis, Tom McRae, The Album Leaf, Jónsi, In Flames. Guilty pleasures? Xzibit and Alicia Keys. This is me in a nutshell! ("Help, I'm in a nutshell!" - Austin Powers) Edit: Forgot to mention Radiohead! How stupid of me. [This article was edited 1 times, at last 30.04.2010 at 13:37.] |

Hei, I'm a young man from the southern part of Norway. Going to visit RF for the second time this year. First time in 2000 (Pearl Jam... (R.I.P.)). I hawe been to a lot of music festivals, but i miss Roskilde's Free minded attitude. Likes a lot mostly Indie, heavy and classic rock. Attended to meet up at Roskilde 2009, but got stuk in Christiania and lost my ticket and my mind.... |
