Quick guide for the search

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Choo choo train from Brussels (Belgium) to Roskilde

I've read on several websites that roskilde provides a great help with international traveling

But I cant find anything specific, where to get on board - change trains - & etc.
Could any of u give me more details? Whether there will be a direct line that u can take, or where to swap stations.

Many thanks
Anthony!

There isn't a direct rail line from Brussels to Roskilde, but there is a few departures with only few train changes. Use this little nifty search app to look for departures: http://roskilde-festival.dk/practical/travel/the_rest_of_europe/

I've taken the liberty to perform a search for you – here's a departure that takes you to Roskilde at 10 in the morning Saturday the 29th, with only TWO changes – one in Düsseldorf, and one in Hamburg:

You may want to look into flying also. If you don't have an InterRail pass, it might be just as cheap: http://www.momondo.co.uk/multicity/?Search=true&TripType=return&SegNo=2&SO0=BRU&SD0=CPH&SDP0=29-06-2013&SO1=CPH&SD1=BRU&SDP1=08-07-2013&AD=1&DO=false&NA=false#Search=true&TripType=return&SegNo=2&SO0=BRU&SD0=CPH&SDP0=29-06-2013&SO1=CPH&SD1=BRU&SDP1=08-07-2013&AD=1&DO=false&NA=false

Flights go to Copenhagen Airport, where there are frequent train departures directly to Roskilde.

See you!

Frequent as in one each hour (intercity for Aalborg).

No all other trains require a change of train at Copenhagen Central station, just follow all the other backpackers icon_biggrin.gif

There is also a Thalys high speed train from Bruxelles (departing at 19:28 ) to Cologne in Germany where you can find a Night train for Copenhagen that stops in Roskilde.

So its only one stop but requires a trip with a night train, there is a choice between a regular Seat, a compartment with 6 bunkbeds that you have to share with others) or real beds in your own compartment (with 2 beds) and some of them with a shower icon_biggrin.gif
