  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

I'm attending this fine event for the first time. Does anyone of you in here have any experience with Copenhell - good or bad? How is the site and stages? And when is the timetable usually out?
I'm looking forward to it and think they have are awesome line up.

I've heard rumours that with Copenhell ticket you will get two free hookers at the festival. I wonder is it true?

What about soundbleed from the stages, it looks like a small area to do a festival.
I do realise that with this kind of music soundbleed will probably not be that much of a problem but I hate it anyway.

To me personly Copenhell has by far THE best festival line up in 2012. It's a great, great festival. The whole area is in concrete so no mud. This year it has three stages. Two for the international bands (big and small) and one new for the danish bands.
This year it will be sponsored by Guld Tuborg so no semi-thin Royal Beer like last year!!

The festival will have a warm-up party at one area of the festival 14/6 where you have to buy an extra ticket for 150,- (it's not a part of the festival and was ment to be a party for those who had bought a tent). On the warm up you can see Svartsot, Mordax and Red Warszawa.

Its my third time at the festival and it develops and getting bigger each year. If you are interested in seeing what it looks like you can have a view on my photos:

You can look forward to Copenhell. It's a great festival with international vibes like on Wacken, Hellfest etc. great for Denmark!

Indeed a fine festival... very small though, but in the previous years, the two stages never played at the same time... which is very smart considering how close they were to each other. With 3 stages this year, I'm not sure how they'll do it. The line-up is good this year (not as excited about it as weiss, seeing that I only have 3 must-sees), but they sure do have some big guns again this year. Hopefully it will keep evolving and getting bigger, so they next year can represent pretty much every metal genre out there.

I haven't been to Copenhell before, since the lineup didn't seem that impressive the first two years, but I'm expecting to go this year. Mostly because I want to see Marilyn Manson, but Slayer, Lamb of God, Mastodon (eventhough it will be my 3 time in a year)and Soulfly also sounds good.

How many people are they expecting at the festival and what are their capacity? Do anybody know that?

Yes. The capacity is 16.000 this year I think it was. The first year there were 4.000. Last year 8.000. And with this years massive line up, the cheap tickets, the great vibe in the metal-environment, press and with the winning of IByen-Prisen I think there will be close to sold out this year.

Given the strong lineup a capacity of 16000 sounds quite low, so there should be soldout. But I would guess, that they might have a hard time getting bigger due to the location.
Copenhagen live in 2010 had at least as many attendants with only 5 real bands and only Rammstein being really big.

Didn't they have Slash and Bullet For My Valentine? If so, I think you underestimate their size and fans.

Yes their headliners were Rammstein, Slash, Bullet for my valentine, Skunk Anansie and Vollbeat. Maybe I'm a little biased, since I bought my ticket mainly to see Rammstein. I thought Bullet was horible and Slash was only really good, when he play GNR-songs.
But Copenhell seems like a much bigger event, so they should be able to sell 16000 tickets.

Copenhagen Live was really great! First concert with Skunk Anansie and second with Volbeat and Rammstein. Bullet for my Valentine? meh.. Too bad they didn't continue to make this little festival..

Going to Copenhell for the first time this year, and looking very much forward to it! Haven't been able to attend because of examns the first two years. Think I bought my ticket the day they went on sale. They had me at Lamb of God and Trivium <3
Great must-sees: Marilyn Manson, Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage, Trivium and Mastodon (for the third time in a year)
Would also hate to miss: Anthrax, Saxon, Korpiklaani and Slayer (saw them in 2005 and it was okay, but nothing more. Rammstein played just after Slayer so of course everything else was pretty bad if you compare icon_cool.gif)

Yes, I also quite liked the festival, I work close to 10-øren, so I could actually follow the sound rehersal from work, before going when Slash played.
Mostly I liked it because it's the only time, I've seen Rammstein, who twice has been soldout at Forum before I tried to buy a ticket. I never really saw Skunk Anansie due to standing in a very long queue at the time, that was a shame.
I heard they cancelled in 2011 since they couldn't get a big headliner (like Rammstein in 2010), and now it might simply be unable to compete with Copenhell two weeks after.

I listened to some of the unknown Copenhell bands at youtube, to see if there is anything good, and I can see, I will have a hard time choosing, since most of the band sounds at least like something I might see.
I'll guess that I'll make my list, when I see the schedule.
