Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

I would like to try it or at least see the Human Car Wash this time. I didn't get to see it for the past few years. I would do it too if I were in better shape. No reason to subject the ladies to unsightly fat!

I will go to the human carwash. My fat shall be displayed. I will go to the naked race. My penis shall be displayed.

Who the fuck cares? icon_biggrin.gif

(And yes, USlander, I'm Scandinavian.)

Americans have the strangest relationship with public nudity and even with their own naked bodies.

Get over it already!

How many people here from the forum are actually going to participate? Not just show up, but actually run in the race? Remember that you need to sign up really early as they fill pretty quickly.

I am planning on taking part and being the Icelandic representative at the race. Hopefully I will succeed in being able to register.

You have to get there early as the guys part of the race fills up the fastest. Guys seem to like get naked more than women do. I am pretty sure you sign up the Friday or earlier before the actual race.

Andri, weren't we supposed to meet before? I remember your plastic ladies leg drinking glass. You are the same person? I thought your name was Andi though?

We were supposed to meet, but somehow it didn't happen. And yes, it is me with the ladies leg glass.

I'll be showing up at the barbeque this year with at least some fermented shark and dried fish. I am not sure if I will be bringing anything else but we will see. Hoping to bring a certain kind of controversial meat, but shh, don't tell anyone.

Considering that the entire Þorrablót menu is pretty controversial for anyone who isn't born in Iceland, the fact that you go immediately to whale is surprising.

Well, you will be briging the hákarl and not the svið so probalby not the sviðasulta, alot of the other stuff is liver and fish, so unless it's the rams testicles, I didn't really se the contorversy. But I only know some of the dishes, from dining with icelandic friends. I just kinda hoped it would be grinde, never tried that.

If I were bringing it, I would not admit to it on the forum, as I'm pretty sure it's illegal to bring to Denmark...

But yes, Minke whale is absolutely delicious.

Well it's legal to import it for people from Greenland and the Foroya Icelands, if it's for personal use and less than 5 kg. Dunno about Iceland.

I thought it was you, and we were supposed tomeet a few times. I also assumed it was Whale meat, especially after a restaurant here in LA near the airport was busted for serving it. It's illegal to eat whale and dolphin meat here in the US. Make sure to stop by opur camp in area C of WEST, near the Windmill so you can drink with us and maybe win a prize! I will not eat any of that rotten fish that Scandinavians like so much, that's been in the ground for months or years! I have tried it in Sweden and almost threw up. Once was enough for me. I am adventurous, but I also can get sick easily if I think about what I am eating too much.

It is called surströmming and it is Swedish. Noone likes that, I doubt that any Swedes like it!
