Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

4. [Still to be filled.]
5. [Same as above.]

Tool played Roskilde in 2001 and 2006, not in 2005

1. Prince 2010 (soooooo goooooooooood!)
2. Page/ Plant 1995 (classic led zep songs, that's it!)
3. The Strokes 2006 (most of the songs was from their debut album...!)

there's too many, and it's hard to remember!

They played only like 2 Led Zep songs. What the F had you been smoking? icon_wink.gif

Yeah, I admit I smoked a lot back then! but I found this http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/jimmy-page-and-robert-plant/1995/roskilde-festival-roskilde-denmark-5bd78784.html

The Wanton Song
(Led Zeppelin cover)
Bring It on Home
(Sonny Boy Williamson cover)
Whole Lotta Love
(Led Zeppelin cover)
Thank You
(Led Zeppelin cover)
No Quarter
(Led Zeppelin cover)
Gallows Pole
(Led Zeppelin cover)
Hurdy-Gurdy Solo
Yallah
Since I've Been Loving You
(Led Zeppelin cover)
The Song Remains the Same
(Led Zeppelin cover)
Calling to You
(Robert Plant cover)
for What It's Worth
The Lemon Song
(Led Zeppelin cover)
Dazed and Confused
(Led Zeppelin cover)
In the Evening
(Led Zeppelin cover)
Encore:
Black Dog
(Led Zeppelin cover)
Kashmir
(Led Zeppelin cover)

I think there's a lot more than two Led Zep songs! What the F had you been smoking...? hahaha...!

Actually I remember the first song was Custard Pie, not Wanton Song... for sure.

That setlist can not be right mate.

Why?

They released No Quarter unledded album 1995 including the songs

1. Nobody's Fault But Mine
2. Thank You
3. No Quarter
4. Friends
5. Yallah
6. City Don't Cry
7. Since I've Been Loving You
8. The Battle of Evermore
9. Wonderful One
10. That's the Way
11. Gallows Pole
12. Four Sticks
13. Kashmir

They release an album full of Zep songs, and then go to tour and play something else (covers or what?!) That would be weird!

and if you look that tour's other concerts setlists, every concert is full of zep classics, then how in the hell they would decide to play totally different set some Plant's or Page's solo material (?!) at Roskilde...!! They hadn't even released any other Page/ Plant album together before 1995... so there wasn't any other than Led Zep material to play together! (+3 new songs from No Quarter unledded)!

http://www.setlist.fm/search?query=page+plant+1995
here's the same http://www.robertplanthomepage.com/setlists/setlists6

there's even bootleg recordings from the Roskilde gig..
http://musictravellerstwo.blogspot.com/2011/11/page-plant-1995-06-29-roskilde.html
http://rambleonzep.com/pp/dates/1995-06-29.htm

But because of this, I just downloaded that 1995 Roskilde gig... I wouldn't ever knew this even exist. Sound quality is ok! So thank you! ...and after Whole Lotta Love, Plant says "Hello Roskilde!"

Don't trust all you read on the internet. That's not the correct set list for Page/Plant at Roskilde '95.

Yeah, it wasn't. The correct setlist is:

01. Intro / Wanton Song
02. Bring it on Home
03. Whole Lotta Love
04. Thank You
05. No Quarter
06. Gallows Pole
07. Hurdy Gurdy Solo
08. Yallah
09. Since I've Been Loving You
10. The Song Remains the Same
11. Friends
12. Calling To You
13. Four Sticks
14. In The Evening
15. Black Dog

So there's 12 Led Zeppelin songs!

The Top...
1. Roger Waters, Orange, 2006
- What a Concert, this one rings a bit higher than Tool only due to the sound...
2. Tool, Orange, 2001
- This was, and is the best concert I've been too, Roger Waters only beat it by having better sound.
3. Porcupine Tree, Arena, 2010
- Highest of the highest in musical skills, this concert left me filled with warmth.
4. Tool, Orange, 2006
- Slightly lower than 2001, - they didn't do duet with Deftones, regardless, perfect.
5. Pendulum, 2010
- What a show.. what a experience to listen to, awesome mixing and absolutely pure party.

Very Close followups: NIN 2000/2009, Rage Against the Machine 1994, Sepultura 1994/1996, Underworld 1994, Radiohead 1995, Chemical Brothers 2008, PRIMUS1997, Rammstein 1998, Amorphis 1996, Apocalyptica 1997 (omg the rain), Paradise Lost 1994/1998, Live 1995, Suede 1997, Sorte Muld 1997, Jeff Buckley 1995, Oasis 1995 (Meet this Swedish girl as this concert!, awesome!!) Machine Head 2000, Prodigy 1997, Gojira 2009, BLACK SABBATH - 1998, BLACK SABBATH - 2005, Plant and Page 1995, Fear factory 1996, Type O Negative 1996, Deftones 2001, Robie williams 2001 (very entertaining, considering I dislike his music), Mastodon 2011.

Worst: Guns'n Roses 2006, Red Hot Chili Peppers 2007, cant listen to any of those anymore

Yeah, it wasn't. The correct setlist is:

03. Whole Lotta Love
04. Thank You

10. The Song Remains the Same
11. Friends
12. Calling To You
13. Four Sticks
14. In The Evening
15. Black Dog

So there's 12 Led Zeppelin songs!

Not so sure that list is correct either. They played a short version of Dazed and Confused for example, and that is not on your list.

They definitely did not play 12 Led Zep songs

Dazed and Confused and also short verses of Break on Trough, the One I love, Let's Have a Party are included in the song CALLING TO YOU. I think there's no need to write them because they were so short versions... Actually after intro they played some 20seconds of Immingrant Song also... I have that CD! I also attended maybe 20metres from stage that concert and I am very familiar with LZ material and you're telling me I'm talking bullshit here? You're a funny guy...!

Does "Not so sure that list is correct either." = "you are talking bullshit" in your world?

I was obviously wrong, but try and keep some perspective...

I simply couldn't remember that many Led Zep songs.

Did you read my "big post" on top of this page? If yes, then your "not so sure" and "they definitely not played that many LZ songs" means basically "You're talking bullshit" in my world, yes. But let's do not make this another retarded thread and stop this discussion. I think no one's interested (except you) the meanings of words in my world...

I can't edit on this page, but let me add this.

I am a bit surprised you are this touchy though, given your little stunt in the "cinema" thread Yesterday (amongst many other, where you call peoples post stupid)

Some would you a tiny, little bit hypocritical

Seems like Tool and Roger Waters are dominating the lists, both from '06.
I would have loved to see Tool.

Mine would be:
NIN 09

Other great concerts were Trentemøller 09,
Foals '11 and Atmosphere '11.
