Dont know if there is any thread like this icon_smile.gif

But what is your favorite Roskilde WTF moment? It is surely these moment that helps the Orange Feeling get unique icon_smile.gif

I stand between two:

Seeing my friends girlsfriend walking with a naked dude in a leash with a gasmask on, whipping him and commanding him to get them beer... WTF!

After the Track72 concert in 2006, me and my mate saw a dude crawling around on the grass like an animal, I checked up on him and he just looked at me with the most frightened look I have ever seen icon_biggrin.gif He surely was f'ed up.. We thought "wtf..." and then we joined in on the crawling, and then it catched on and 10-15 people were crawling around icon_smile.gif

Deleted user A lot of people go wtf when we play our beer zombie game. Basically we act like zombies and go "øøøøøl!" (instead of "braaains") for an hour, walking around in a pack randomly on the camp site. Some join in, others are geniunely scared, some hand out beer!

Great fun.

Hahaha. Both are great!

My biggest WTF moment was in 06 where my mate goes to the toilet on the final day. He comes running back and tells me to come and check something. I look around and the moment i look up I see a massive shit stuck to the side of the wall in the toilet. So he has picked up his mud monkey and thrown it at the wall!! Disturbing, but really funny at the time. Got funnier when 2 hours later the toilet got locked off and had red and white barrier tape over it haha.

My greatest WTF moment on RF was in 2007. It was thursday morning, and I had really had enough! I woke up wet, my throat was burning and i was coughing and I had hangovers to the max! 2/3 of my camp had already left the festival, and I was left behind. So I decided to quit the festival, I thought that I could always come back next year. But it was sad to watch all the people waiting for the festival area to open.

So i went home(Sydfyn, 2 hours train, not that bad) and got a bath and had my clothes dried and had a good nights sleep. When I woke up friday morning I was like, hell no. So I decided to go back to the festival. When I arrived at my tent, which was all empty and wet when i left, I got a big suprise.

The entrance of the tent was covered with nice dry wood chips, making it possible to leave your boots outside the tent. Inside the tent was all dry and nice, but someone had left a sleeping bag and some luggage... First I was like WTF, but then I thougt "Well, I didnt use it last night, and someone maybe had their tent flood. So I wrote a message on some paper saying "Hello, my name is Preston, you can stay in my tent" and left for the Trentemøller concert.

When I came back I heard some people from my camp yelling "Here comes Preston" and then a man falls out of my tent with a bottle of rum in the first hand, hand shaking my hand with the other. He told me his name was jakob, and that he was 40 years old and normally lived in "thy lejren"(Much like Christiania) and that he was happy that we could share the tent. So I spend the rest of the roskilde nights sleeping in the tent with Jakob icon_razz.gif (And yes only sleeping!)

Though I had hoped for it to be a girlicon_wink.gif haha

Nice story Preston icon_smile.gif

Last year we were sitting in our camp when we spotted a dwarf on a tricycle?? (bike with 3 wheels, those that kids use) that was kinda funny.

Later that festival I went to get some beers and when I returned to our camp my mates were all smiling and laughing. Apparently a bunch of topless girls had visited our camp. I called BS! but later I saw the proof in terms of pictures. DAMNIT!

Great stuff!! icon_smile.gif

Also - on the saturday before the warmup in 2009 on Copenhagen Central Station (hovedbanegården) when there was most rush on festival goers, I saw Gleager (pretty-boy with no IQ known from tv's Paradise Hotel) in the middle of a horde of drunken Roskilde folks getting in a train, looking more frightened than I could ever imagine icon_biggrin.gif orange feeling at its fullest icon_smile.gif

my biggest wtf experience had to be in 07 when me and my boyfriend tried to get back to our camp, and we tried to get through all the mud. we both had long boots on, but we could feel the mud up to our crouches.. it was disgusting.
anyway, trying to walk like an elephant through it all, basking our feet down and up so hard that we were close to give up, suddenly i fell, and i was holding my boyfriends hand, so he fell too. i fell on my right side, but because i dragged my boyfriend down quite fast, he fell on his face.. really bad. i tried to help him and rolled over onto him, but he just laughed. apparently this looked funny to some people standing by looking at us, they
decided to jump on us, maybe cuz they thought it looked like som mud fest. so we were like 10 -15 people rolling on the mud, and on eachother,.. people connecting through mud.. icon_smile.gif haha
but it was also a pretty funny experience (:

NO MORE RAIN IN RF ! especially 2010! (:

Haha, great stories .. icon_lol.gif

Last year me and my buddy were going back from B to our camp in C, suddenly two random guys in green jumpsuits (their faces were covered too) starts following us, kinda funny in the start, but as they wouldnt stop we got a little scared and began to run, they decided to chase us down but we managed to get from them.

A little WTF .. icon_razz.gif

This was weird:
Last year I went to see Mew at Arena. Was standing outside the tent with some friends, and then all of a sudden, some other people, a couple of rows behind us started laughing for no apparent reason.

I turned around, and there some blokes (6-7) were standing there with their arms folded whilst another guy was peeing towards some very young girls, who obviously wanted to leg it, but they couldn't as they were rather trapped in the crowd.

WTF ?!

Another year, might have been 06 or 07, one of my friends in the volunteer crew wanted to get his hands on some girl, he was sort of desperate, but had been unsuccesfull to that point (we'd been there for 4-5 days). We sleep in a large building, so one night he decided to take matters into his own hands. He simply crept inside some girls sleeping bag - when she arrived they did it!

But apparently she didn't approve too much, because when they were done, she left her own sleeping bag and went to sleep with another friend! The fact that my friend could be seen sleeping on his own in some girls sleeping bag raised a certain amount of questions the next day icon_biggrin.gif

The biggest WTF moment in 2009 was when my wristband came off all by itself!

It was the last night and i was on my way to Arena in order to watch the last concert. While standing in line i absent-mindedly dabbled with the wristband and all of a sudden had the damn thing dangling freely in my other hand!
Seems that either the machine that is used for tightening the lock on the wristbands was a bit worn and misaligned or that the girls who operated it hadn't had a good enough breakfast before their shift began.

So going back to the discussion about theft and stolen wristbands - some of them may have come off all by themselves.

See you on grass very soon!

One instance that I can think off was when me and a couple of others had a good time playing beer-bowling. Then one of us saw a rather drunk Australian dude who gave free whiskey to every camp he went by..

Moments later we all drank whiskey icon_biggrin.gif

I remembered a weather related WTF just today.
It was in the late 90's and me and a bunch of friends camped at west, in the middle of what is now called C.
We noticed a very sharp line of obvious black rainclouds over camp East, the clouds were cut off right along railroad.
Above us sun, blue skies, giggling and pointing.
But THEN it starts to rain on US because of the easterly winds, and people we talked to who lived East of the bridge didn't get any rain at all.

Deleted user One of my WTF moments at roskilde 2009, was when I was chased by two naked norwegian guys (of course).

I think I went for a walk in my campingsite, and then suddenly I saw two naked guys running towards me. I decided to run just for the fun of it, and they decided to follow me, haha. I tried to escape by running through several camps, and at last I rushed through my own camp, and all my friends were like wtf is he doing haha. But I cant remember how I escaped. icon_lol.gif

My moment was in 2009

I was standing at the bar next to the skatepark with a fullbody crocodile suit ready to buy some drinks when a guy jumped me from behind and dragged me to the ground, more people jumped in and soon i was dry-humped/raped by probably 5-6 people.

I finally managed to get on my feet and someone from the other side of the bartent had seen what happened and wanted a part of the action, so sure enough, back on my feet im quickly dragged back down and manhandled all over again!

while on the ground the second time i just thought WTF.

After that though, I got up, got my drink and was one experience richer.
Gotta love Roskilde

Once apon a time...actually Roskilde 2008 is was sitting i my High Schools camp at Camp West, me and some of the others sat drinking beer and ate quick-coffee -pouder(or something). Me and a girl that was just a friend of one the students...and ohh she apparenty was a lesbian (damn! icon_wink.gif) decided to walk around camp West to see if we could find a rave party somewhere, because our camp had fizzeled out. We actually found a rave party pretty fast and raved out!!(or what they do is). but all of the sudden this girl i almost didn't know was no where to be seen, and i felt somewhat guilty. I searched...to be honest for half a minute and then went to bed. The next day I sat in at about 4 in afternoon, then the girl, stumbled into the camp, a bit confused, didn't know WTF happen. she later told us that she has blackouts, not do to alcohol, and but didn't mind teeling anyone about these before we party with her. The even more f**ked up part, was that no one missed her, because we just thought she was in own high schools camp

Last year I was sitting at the grandstand(?), quite bored in fact, because my friend had abandoned me, and I was way too sober. After some time two guys came walking over and sat down on either side of me. They asked all the normal questiones, where are you from, what's your name, what do you do for a living etc. After some time of the normal chit-chat they asked me; "Hey, would you like to have a threesome with us? See we're going to move in together this fall, and we thought it would be a nice way to get to know eachother better if we had a threesome"

All I could think was WTF??!!

Hahaha, one of my WTF moments from 09 also relates to this guy. We were sitting in our camp, can´t remember if it was during the warm up or later, but this really drunk girl comes into the camp and asks us: "are you danish?", she was norwegian and so was our entire camp. She then asks us if we were swedish, then finally realizing we were norwegian as well, her next question was if any of us watched the danish version of Paradise Hotel (for some reason it´s not enough for norway to make its own version, they have to show the danish one as well..) This because her mission during the festival was to find him and make him see that she was the one and only girl for him, then they´d be together forever! WTF!?!

Incredibly weird...haha icon_wink.gif

At Roskilde 08 I, as usual tended to enjoy the party/drinking in our camp. So to be honest I got quit drunk.

Suddenly a polite cop wakes me up by shaking my shoulder. At that point I was standing in the middle of the huge parking lot, filled with dusty cars…WTF! The cop then asks me: Is that your car?
I look down at the car I am leaning against and answer: No. The cop then suggests that I find my camp and sleep in my tent instead of against this stranger’s car. I partly follow the advice. I do find my camp, but I continue partying. Nothing beats a powernap! icon_razz.gif

Both an answer to this and a WTF moment. I was offered a threesome with two girls in 2007. I was drunk and afraight I might fall a sleep afterwards, so I said no. I wanted to party and that seemed more important at the moment. Next day, when I remebered that I said no I walked around for hours, trying to find the girls. No dice though. If you are out there, the two of you, then let's meet this year icon_smile.gif
